The Women's squash team of Dipika & Joshna won against Pakistan 2-1 earlier in the morning. Mixed doubles squash team of Dipika Pallikal & Sourav Ghosal also won a match against Guyana's Mary Fung-a-fat & Jason Ray beating them 2-0.

The Next tie up is: Joshna Chinappa/Harinder Singh (IND) vs Caroline Laing/Jacob Kelly (CAY)

Joshna started off her campaign well in the Women's Singles category winning her first 2 matches in Round of 32 & Round of 16. However she failed to capitalize in the Semifinals when she faced Joelle King of New Zealand in the Semifinals and lost to her 3-0. She will now be looking to make the most with this opportunity in the Women's Doubles and Mixed Doubles category.

Joshna's partner, Harinder Pal Singh on the other hand lost to Ivan Yuen of Malaysia in the Men's Singles Round of 32 and has had a forgettable run so far at the CWG. He will definitely look to improve upon his performance as he gets his chance in Doubles.

Day 6 of the Commonwealth Games progresses with hopes of winning many more medals just as they did yesterday. In shooting, India's Gagan Narang & Chain Singh qualified for the finals of the 50m Rifle Prone Men's but Gagan Narang finished 7th & Chain Singh finished 4th in the Final. Annu Singh and Heena Sidhu followed suit and reached the Finals of Women's 25m Pistol Finals. Meanwhile, the Indian Men's Hockey team confirmed their spot in the Semifinals beating Malaysia in the morning and reaching the top of the table with 7 points.
