India wins 3-1 against Wales! A good show from Suthirtha Mukherjee and Pooja Sahasrabudhe to maintain their cool after a stumble in the third game to win the match and move into the quarter-finals.
India clinch an easy 3-0 victory over Sri Lanka to move into the quarter-finals!
After registering dominating wins of 11-4 in the first two games, Manika Batra and Mouma Das maintained their composure to close off the match by registering a comfortable 11-1 win in the end.
Positive start from the Round of 16 for India as an 11-5 win against Wales in the second game puts them in the driver's seat to qualify for the next round.
We have two massive clashes today in the round of 16 today!
First up, Suthirtha Mukherjee and Pooja Sahasrabudhe will join hands to clash with Wales' duo of Charlotte Carey and Chloe Thomas.
In the second game, Manika Batra and Mouma Das will be hoping to clinch a victory against the Sri Lanka duo of Hansani Kapugeekiyana and Ishara Madurangi.
Heading into Day 8, India will be looking to continue a good medal run in the competition so far.

Medals won on Day 7: India's Shreyasi Singh won a gold medal in the Women's Double Trap Finals & Ankur Mittal bagged a Bronze in the Men's Double Trap Finals. Om Mitharval also bagged a bronze medal in the Men's 50m Pistol Finals which happened earlier in the day.
On Day 7, there was a also lot of progress in the Boxing event. Manish Kaushik, Vikas Krishan, and Gaurav Solanki went through to the Semifinals. Legendary Mary Kom did one better and progressed to the Finals in the 45-48 Kg weight category.
Indian Men's Hockey team staged a great comeback from 3-2 down to win 4-3 against England in the final minutes of the match, confirming their spot in the semifinals.
