Remember CWG 2014 when Joshna and Dipika created history by bringing home the women's doubles gold? We might just get to taste some metal in the doubles section. Who knows...it might again be another gold!

Fingers crossed for that!

Welcome to the blog! The previous matches went the distance, so this match got delayed.

13:04 (IST)7 APR 2018

Hello and welcome to the Sportskeeda live coverage of the Commonwealth Games squash. Joshna Chinappa is now the only Indian left standing in singles after the earlier defeats of Dipika Pallikal, Saurav Ghosal, Harinderpal Sandhu and Vikram Malhotra.

Chinappa has been in good form so far at this tournament and hasn't dropped a game. The 31-year-old has been in good nick for the past few months and became the Asian champion last year, besides reaching the final at Hong Kong in September.

However, the World No. 14 has a tough task up next as she faces the fourth ranked Joelle King. The Kiwi ace won the Cleveland Classic in February and has come to the CWG with a lot of confidence.

This will be a tough one for Joshna, but never count her out.

Stay tuned for live updates.
