31 year Joshna Chinappa takes on Australia's Tamika Saxby in the Women's Singles Round of 16

Joshna beat Papua New Guinea's Lynette Vai in the Women's Singles Round of 32. She won with a score of 11-3, 11-7 & 11-2 in the 3 games clinching the victory in just 16 minutes. She is currently ranked 17th in the World and will be facing Tamika who is ranked 60th presently. No prizes for guessing who will be the favorite here. Her pairing with Dipika is famous after gold medal win at the Glasgow Games in 2014 which was India's first ever gold in the sport at CWG. She will be looking to dominate in the Singles category as well this time.
