A game that saw three players being sent off comes to an end with a 2-0 win for the Murciana U20 side who were solid in defence and did not allow the Indian boys to take advantage of the early numbers advantage. India's Anwar Ali and Jitender Singh were sent off during the course of the match.

Hello and welcome to the live coverage of all the action from the Cotif Cup 2018 as India U-20 team is set to take on Spanish side Murcia U-20 in Spain.

Indian youngsters of the sub-junior U-20 category are set to open their campaign in the Cotif tournament as they take on Spanish side Murcia in Spain.

The Cotif tournament will see a host of players from the FIFA U-17 World Cup squad as well as the squad that took part in the AFC U-19 qualifiers held in Saudi Arabia.

The first fixture of the tournament will act as a pre-cursor to tougher fixtures in the Cotif Tournament in the form of Argentina U-20, Venezuela U-20 and Mauritania U-20. Newly appointed coach Floyd Pinto will hope the boys can draw good experience from the matches which will act as build-up for the qualification for FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Indian players Aman Chhetri, Anwar Ali, Boris Singh and Ninthoi Meetei impressed in their last fixture against local club side Union Deportiva Alzira U-22 after arriving in Spain.
