The Guyana Amazon Warriors got off to a rapid start courtesy Dwayne Smith and Martin Guptill. The duo were taking the game away from the Patriots but quick wickets in the middle overs brought sanity to the proceedings. Spinners Shamsi and Badree applied brakes and along with Krishmar Santokie helped Patriots to come back into the game. Jason Mohammed held fort and played an inspirational innings and saw his team through by 4 wickets in the end. Thisara Perera had a day to forget and his spell of 4-0-51-0 was the difference in the game in the end.
