With the win, the Warriors have replaced the Panthers at the third spot in KPL standings, with the latter at fourth spot now.

"I would like to thank the fans of Mysuru. They were right behind us all the way. It feels good to win by such a close margin. We have been batting well throughout the tournament. We planned on getting 160 but the wicket got better and better as the match progressed. Our bowlers bowled really well."

Panthers' long batting line-up kept them in the game till the end.
It was the perfect start by Dikshanshu Negi but they lost their way in the middle overs, with a few wickets falling as well. The lower order did well to bring them back in the game, with Nidhish and Ballal holding a 50+ stand, taking the game deep.
Sheer misfortune in the end, for the Panthers to lose.
