Hello and welcome to the live coverage of the 2017 Hockey India League. Today is the final day of the tournament and we are going to witness two matches with the first being the 3/4th playoff between Delhi Waveriders vs Uttar Pradesh Wizards. The motivation in this match are going to be quite low as both teams lost in the semi-finals yesterday. While Uttar Pradesh Wizards were dealt with a heartbreak in the form of a penalty shootout defeat at the hands of Kalinga Lancers, Delhi Waveriders were ousted and outclassed by a Dabang Mumbai side, which has been on a roll in this competition since Day 1.

Uttar Pradesh Wizards, however, would be the more demotivated side of the two, given how well they played against Kalinga Lancers and how profligate they were in front of goal. Roelant Oltmans' boys were right on top throughout the game but never took the steering in their hand during decisive movements.

Delhi Waveriders have had a good season but they would rue missing the penalty stroke yesterday to draw level and have a real crack at the 2017 Hockey India League final.
