And it's over. Gokulam Kerala 2-1 Mohun Bagan. GOKULAM KERALA WINS THE DURAND CUP. A club found in 2017 has won a tournament that started in 1888. What a win for their side, for their club. Mohun Bagan players are devasted and so are the 43,000+ fans in attendance.

90+7' Salva Chamorro is picked out by his teammate but the No.9 fires his header high and misses the chance to equalize in the last minute.

85' Beitia's corner finds the unmarked Gurjinder but the captain's header is wide as Gokulam Kerala players sigh with relief.

79' Pelissari and Joseph exchange a one-two and the former shoots at goal but Debjit Majumder punches away the Brazilain's effort.

77' VP Suhair tees up Beitia but the Spanish midfielder's shot is blocked. Gurjinder Kumar takes a punt at goal from long range but fails to hit the target.

74' Second change for Gokulam Kerala. Henry Kisekka is replaced by Bruno Pelissari.

67' The match is open at both ends. We are witnessing an end to end game. Marcus Joseph makes a brilliant run and sets up Shibil Muhammed who puts a brilliant cross in for Henry Kisekka but the Uganda forward can't get his volley on target and ends up firing high.

64' GOALL!! Mohun Bagan pull one back. Beitia takes a free kick and finds the head of Salva Chamorro who heads it straight to Ubaid CK. The Gokulam Kerala goalkeeper pulls off a howler as he messes up a simple catch and the ball ends up in the back of the net. GAME ON!!

62' Frustration setting in amongst the Mohun Bagan players. Beitia takes a shot from long range but he fires it quite high.

60' A defensive change from Gokulam Kerala. Mohamed Salah comes on for the booked Meitei.

57' Another change for Mohun Bagan. This time, a clearly attacking one. Creative midfielder on for the centre back. Francisco Morante is replaced by Francisco Gonzales.

55' Mohun Bagan makes the first change of the match in search of a goal. Alexander Romario comes on for Surabuddin Mollick.

52' GOALLLLL!! Marcus Joseph does it again. He sprints towards the goal and rounds the goalkeeper off at the near post and places the ball in the back of the net with his left foot. Eleventh goal of the tournament and more importantly, his second of the match.

50' VP Suhair fires a powerful shot straight towards Ubaid CK who deflects it behind for a corner. The corner is wasted as Gokulam Kerala clear.

48' The second half has kicked off. Mohun Bagan are looking to do more with the ball rather than just keeping possession of the ball as it seems from the first couple of minutes.

Gokulam Kerala takes a 1-0 lead into half time courtesy of a brilliant penalty created and taken by their skipper Marcus Joseph at the stroke of half time. Mohun Bagan would be certainly looking forward to a better second half.

45' And he scores it!! GOAALLL!! Right in the bottom right corner. Skipper Marcus Joseph took on the responsibility of taking the penalty and gave Majumder no chance of saving it as he slotted it in the bottom right corner with power.

44' PENALTYY!! Marcus Joseph puts in a through ball for Henry Kisekka and the Uganda forward is one-on-one with the Mohun Bagan goalkeeper who fouls him in order to prevent a goal. Debjit Majumder is shown the yellow card for his offence.

42' Both the teams are sitting tight at the back as no side wants to concede first in the final resulting in a rather slow tempo match.

38' Mohun Bagan are trying to keep more possession of the ball as they are trying to create chances through the slick passing of Beitia and Naorem.

35' Marcus Joseph's cross was bravely punched away by Debjit Majumder protecting his clean sheet in the match when no defender came to his aid.

30' Jestin George is shown a yellow card by the referee for stamping on Salva Chamorro's foot.

26' A cross from Marcus Joseph from the left was headed towards his teammate but Francisco Morante blocks and allows Debjit Majumder to gobble up the ball in his hands.

22' Mohun Bagan players are desperately looking for the first goal of the match. Joseba Beitia takes a shot from 25 yards but it goes a tad bit high.

18' The referee has had enough. He shows the first yellow card of the match to Meitei for fouling Ashutosh Mehta 30 yards away from goal.

15' After missing a few chances in the initial minutes to open the scoring, Gokluam Kerala players are getting frustrated as unnecessary tackles are flying in from their midfielders.

12' The Kolkata giants have earned the first corner of the match. After an initial clearance, Gurjinder Kumar takes a punt at goal but Ubaid CK saves with comfort.

9' Mohun Bagan are struggling to play the same brand of football they played against Real Kashmir FC in the semi-final but they would be hoping to kick into the second gear in the next few minutes.

6' Gokulam Kerala get away the first shot of the match but Meitei ends up firing wide.

3' We have kicked off. Gokulam Kerala are playing in orange shirts while Mohun Bagan are clad in white shirts.

Both the teams have walked out on the pitch and we are awaiting kickoff.

A much better attendance is recorded for the finale as compared to both the semi-finals which recorded an attendance of 18,162 and 23,118 respectively.

Mohun Bagan: The I-League giants dominated a star-studded Group B as they defeated the likes of former Indian Super League champions ATK and West Bengal football club Mohmmaden. Then, in the semi-final, Bagan defeated the in-form Real Kashmir FC 3-1 A.E.T.
Gokulam Kerala: Placed in probably the easiest group, Gokulam Kerala defeated Indian Air Force, TRAU and former ISL champions Chennaiyin FC to set-up a semi-final clash with East Bengal. After trailing for most of the semi-final, Gokulam Kerala equalized in the injury time and then trumped over the Kolkata giants on penalties.

In the final of Durand Cup 2019, Mohun Bagan face Gokulam Kerala at the Salt Lake Stadium. While the West Bengal giants have won the coveted trophy a total number of 16 times, Gokulam Kerala will be trying to lay their hands on the trophy for the first time in the history of the Asia's oldest football tournament.
