Mohun Bagan: The I-League giants dominated a star-studded Group B as they defeated the likes of former Indian Super League champions ATK and West Bengal football club Mohmmaden. Then, in the semi-final, Bagan defeated the in-form Real Kashmir FC 3-1 A.E.T.
Gokulam Kerala: Placed in probably the easiest group, Gokulam Kerala defeated Indian Air Force, TRAU and former ISL champions Chennaiyin FC to set-up a semi-final clash with East Bengal. After trailing for most of the semi-final, Gokulam Kerala equalized in the injury time and then trumped over the Kolkata giants on penalties.
