East Bengal will be disappointed with the result. They had taken the lead and would have expected themselves to keep the clean sheet, especially with Anthony Wolfe out.
But Churchill really came back with venom in the second half. Their youngster really produced the goods. Brandon Fernandes, Chesterpaul Lyngdoh and Pankaj Sona made a nuisance of themselves. And finally, Ghanefo Kromah was the man with the golden touch.
But way over the crossbar. Robin Singh had chested it down on to the path of Romeo Fernandes. The winger set himself up with his first touch and fires one in.
Great counter by CB. It came in from Seriton from the back. Pankaj with a great ball down the left for Miranda. They come back inside to Brandon who finds Pankaj Sona again.
His low cross is blocked but not well. Brandon on to it first and sets up Kromah for the finish into the empty net as Rehenesh was down after a collision following the low cross.
East Bengal scores. Sheer strength from Wedson Anselme. The Haitian just took on Adil Khan, Sheraton Fernandes and Keenan Almeida and muscled his way into the box.
He kept his composure and has a finish at the end of it!
63' - Corner from Jairu. Flicked on to the far post where Anselme is there. He tries to make some space but he has very little time to do so and that forces an error out of him.
62' - Stray pass from Richard Costa allows EB to attack via Wedson. He plays it out to the right. Bheke and Poojary tries to conjure something up but Adil Khan is again there.
56' - Corner is cleared and then comes back in. A bit of head tennis in the box. And finally East Bengal come away with it as Subhashis is fouled whilst going up in the air.
55'- Excellent work from Chesterpaul Lyngdoh there. Dispossesses Narayan Das and swings a ball in. That falls to Brandon on the left - who has a shot on goal which is blocked.
The rebound falls for an onrushing Lyngdoh. Again blocked. Corner.
49' - Kromah with some room to run. Gets past a couple of EB defenders. Finds Chesterpaul near the right touchline. He swings in a ball in but that is asking too much from Pankaj Sona.
