CLANG! A loooong range effort from Gibbs beats the keeper but hits the crossbar near the top corner! That was almost 2-0!

GOAL! Olivier Giroud makes it 1-0! A terrible back-pass from Meyler sees Giroud pounce and score with a shot that goes between the goalkeeper's legs!

38': Kieran Gibbs leads Arsenal on a counter-attack and his cross is snuffed out and the visitors have a corner which Walcott is unable to take advantage of thanks to a feeble cross.

34': YELLOW CARD! Olivier Giroud is too slow to get to a long ball and ends up tripping his opponent.

23': Hull goalkeeper Jakupovic was in the form of his life at the Emirates and he confidently comes out to claim a cross before Giroud gets a head to it.

Powell is up and about and has had his head bandaged. Mertesacker, also bandaged, slowly gets to his feet but he looks okay to continue

OUCH! Play has been stopped after Mertesacker and Powell clash heads in an aerial duel. The German defender looks in bad shape and Monreal is already warming up. Koscielny is not available for this game.

15 minutes gone and Hull have managed to keep Arsenal at bay at the KC. The Gunners struggling to create opportunities in the final third.

10': CHANCE! Joel Campbell is through on goal and rides a tackle to set himself up for a shot in the box but it doesn't have enough curl on it to find the target.

8': Hull City have a corner but the gunners deal with it and clear the danger. A long ball intended for Walcott is cut out by the Hull defence with ease.

Now that Giroud is leading the line, Walcott has gone back to the left with Campbell on the right.

3': GOA.... Nope! Walcott puts the ball in the net but he was offside when he collected the ball.
