Full Time! And with that, we come to the end of the match, as England grabbed a late winner through Ward, to win the match 3-2. The hosts put on a spirited display in the fourth quarter to come from two goals behind, and level things up at 2-2. However, England managed to get the crucial winner in the end, as India stay winless in the 2017 Hockey World League Finals.

58 - Akashdeep gets a yellow card for a frustrated tackle, and India are down to 10 men. The Powerplay seems to have been negated now.

57 - India have now thrown caution to the winds. They have taken off keeper Chikte, and are going for the Powerplay!

57 - GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! Ward scores his 2nd goal of the night, to put England in the lead! He found himself in some space inside the India circle, dummied, and took the shot on reverse, to place it perfectly in the goal.

56 - Akashdeep soars up the left flank, plays it to Sunil in the circle, and makes the run down the by-line. However, Sunil turns and does not play the ball back to him, as the chance peters out.

54 - The intensity of the game has suddenly gone a notch or two. Both sides are now showing great intent to get their attacks going.

52 - Rupinder produces a wonderful ball to switch the play to Lalit in space. Lalit passes to Akashdeep up front, but the forward runs into a crowd in front of the England area.

49 - GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!! Rupinder puts India right back in the match. His PCs have not been as accurate tonight, but this one was inch perfect, as it was placed just out of an outstretched England keeper's reach, as the ball nestled into the net.

49 - PC for India! Rupinder lines up the shot, but it catches an English foot, and India get another PC.

49 - Chance! Ward crosses it in from the right, as a diving Griffiths gets a stick onto it just a couple of yards from goal. However, it took a weird touch, as the ball sailed over the bar.

47 - PC for India! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!! Akashdeep pulls one back for India! Rupinder dragged his shot right down the middle, but it was saved. However, Akashdeep was alert on the rebound, and turned it in from close range.

46 - India get the proceedings underway in Q4, but it seems to be the same story all over again. They just cannot find any space past this English defence.

End of Q3! Its a rather grim affair for India, here. They have done well to get a number of quality attacks in, but a defensive error from Harmanpreet gave England the 2-0 lead, as the visitors look to be firmly on the front foot.

42 - Manpreet lines up the shot from this PC, but it is blocked. Harmanpreet gets on the rebound but fails to make anything o it.

43 - PC for India! Harmanpreet lines up the shot, but it catches a deflection. There's some confusion as the umpires discuss their decision, and award India another PC.

43 - GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ward puts England in a 3-0 lead! Horrible piece of defence from Harmanpreet, as he misses a long ball into the area. Ward gets on the ball in front of the keeper, dummied, and turned it into the goal.

40 - Gurjant tries to launch a counter attack for India, but he takes too much time on the ball, and is soon closed down.

37 - Its been a good period of play for India, as they look to lay siege around the England area, but the Englishmen are defending well.

35 - Its been a rather slow game in the second half. Both the sides are being cautious, and are looking to build slowly from the defence. Spaces are very few and far between

33- Lalit plays in a cross from the left, but it is cleared. However, the clearance is intercepted at the edge of the circle by Tirkey, who immediately pulls the trigger, but the shot is saved

31 - India get the proceedings underway for the second half, but England soon get on the ball, and look to dominate the proceedings.

Half Time! And with that, we come to the end of the first half, with England leading the match 1-0. India have looked a little sluggish start in the match, here. They have only gotten one shot on goal. England, on the other hand, have managed to stop India's counter-attacks with their half-court press. They have dominated play with 56% or possession.

27 - Dickson gets a flick-on from Antell, and enters the cricle, but is crowded out.

25 - GOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! David Goodhill gets England int he lead. He waited patiently in front of goal, and managed to connect with a cross among a barrage of defenders, to turn it in from close range.

24 - Tirkey tries to make an interception, but it hits his foot, and England get a PC.

23 - Manpreet intercepts the ball in defence, plays it out to Lalit, who advanced down the left flank, and passed it through to Akashdeep. However, the pass had too much pace on it, as the ball rolled out of play.

22 - Mandeep is shoved in the back just outside the England area. But India fail to make anything out of that free hit.

21 - Middleton finds a lot of space in the middle and fizzes a ball into the India circle, but the Indian defence clear the danger.

19 - Varun plays a lovely long ball to Akashdeep, who passes it to Chinglensana, who bursts into the circle, but he is soon crowded out.

17 - Akashdeep tears away on the left, draws a couple of defenders, and squares it to Chinglensana, who dummies inside the box and pulls the trigger on the reverse. However, his shot is wide.

16 - England get the proceeding underway in Q2, as they look to stretch India on the flanks.

End of Q1! So the first quarter comes to an end with the scores being tied at 0-0. It has been a balanced quarter for the two sides, but India have grown into the game slowly. However, there were no major chances for either side.

15 - Lalit breaks down the right, and crashes it in towards the circle, but Akashdeep had run too far ahead of the ball.

13 - Sunil breaks down the middle on the counter, as Akashdeep makes a run towards the circle. However, the angles were well-blocked by the England defenders, and Sunil finally draws a foul for a shoulder-barge.

10 - India seem to have found some rhythm, as Harmanpreet controls things from the middle. However, Amit Rohidas is not making the runs into the danger areas, which resulted in the attack fizzing out.

8 - Varun soars up the left flank and crosses it in. It takes a deflection off an England stick and soars towards goal, but its a tad bit too high. It wouldn't have counted anyway, as the last touch was from outside the circle.

7 - Its been an even start from the start, as both the sides have made one circle-entry each.

3 - A bobbling ball puts the India defence under some pressure, as Reid pulls the trigger on the reverse, but his shot is wide.

1 - Chance! India get the ball and immediately launch the counter-attack, as Sunil plays it in from the right. Akashdeep controls the ball and pulls the trigger, but it is saved.

1 - And England get the proceedings underway, as Barry Middleton looks to control things from the middle of the park.

Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the Hockey World League match between India and England. The players are out on the pitch, and we are all set for the national anthems.

After a thrilling draw in their opening game against Australia, India will look for all three points as they take on England in their second match of the FIH Hockey World League Final 2017. The Indians produced a fantastic attacking display against the Aussies and could have even gone on to win the match had they been more clinical in front of goal.

It was Mandeep Singh who was on the scoresheet for the Indians as they took the lead in the second quarter. However, Jeremy Hayward equalized only a minute later as he converted from a penalty corner situation with an excellent drag flick.

Sjoerd Marijne's men will certainly be eyeing a win against the English side, who lost their opening game at the hands of Germany on Friday by a 2-0 margin. However, they will certainly have to improve in front of goal with their finishing as well as in penalty corner situations, four of which were not converted against Australia.
