PEEP PEEP PEEP! FULL TIME: Arsenal 0-3 Chelsea

A brace from Michy Batshuayi and a goal from Willian sees the Premier League champions come out on top against the FA Cup winners.

The two sides will meet again in the curtain raiser to the 2017/18 season when they meet at Wembley in the Community Shield in a couple of weeks.

Until then, it's goodbye from us!
...
93' Baker clears the wall but Emi Martinez makes a comfortable save.
...
93' Free kick to Chelsea! Koscielny concedes the free-kick after bringing down Baker. This could be the last bit of action we see in the game.
...
92' Young Boga tries to get the better of Coquelin and almost succeeds as the French midfielder spins on the spot like a top trying to figure out Boga's next move. But Willock tracks back to help and wins the ball back.
...
THREE MINUTES ADDED ON
...
90' Chelsea lead 3-0 and Conte is still on the touchline shouting instructions - what a man! (or he's simply informing the youngsters that the next person to score stays at Chelsea)
...
86' CLANG! OFF THE POST! Arsenal almost get on the score sheet with a Reiss Nelson effort that beats Caballero but comes off the upright.
...
84' Loic Remy initiates a Chelsea counter with Kenedy and Baker on either side. He opts to pass to Kenedy who makes two touches to get forward but his final touch is too heavy and the Arsenal defence get back in time to prevent a shot or cut-back. That was close!
...
80' Chelsea have made so many subs with young players coming on that it looks like the Vitesse Arnhem team for the 2017/18 season out there now.
...
With 15 minutes to go, play is stopped for a water break and both side make a few more substitutions so everyone gets a chance to play. I'll try my best to tell you who came on/off - this is like ice hockey subs, for crying out loud!
...
75' Kolasinac brings down Tomori who looked to run through on goal. The Arsenal defender gets a yellow card for his blatant but professional foul. Taking one for the team and all that.
...
73' Arsenal almost score a comical own goal. Ospina narrowed the angle on the shot and blocked the effort but the rebound almost went in off the backtracking Alex Iwobi!
...
71' Substitution update: Remy, Baker, Tomori and Kenedy came on for Conte's side to replace Batshuayi, Willian, Moses and Alonso.
...
70' It's been a scrappy few minutes. Chelsea bring on a number of young players for the final 20 minutes. I'd tell you who they are but Chelsea have refused to print their names on the shirts.
...
67' After a promising Arsenal foray into Chelsea's half, Giroud literally copies Alonso's shot on goal at the other end and it goes well wide of Courtios' far post.
...
66' Alonso attempts a shot that is so wide of goal that Ospina doesn't even bother moving from his line. It does look like the players are tiring in Beijing's humidity.
...
63' Alonso takes the free-kick but fails to clear the wall. It must be said that the referees don't really whistle for fouls unless it's pretty blatant - as Giroud found out when he was hurled to the ground in a 50-50 battle.
...
62' Willian... SAVE! Willian gets in behind the defence again and takes a shot that stings Ospina's hands. Chelsea come back quickly and Kolasinac commits a foul to concede a free-kick.
...
60' Giroud has seen a lot of the ball ever since coming on and this time he tries to turn provider for Ozil with a cross back to the centre. It worked in the FA Cup final to find Ramsey but this time it's too close to Caballero who holds on to it with ease.
...
58' Giroud takes the free-kick and he tries to go under the wall without much success. Ozil gets on to the loose ball and feeds Ramsey who misses the shot, But Giroud tees up Coquelin whose shot from distance grazes the top of the net as it sails over Caballero's goal.
...
...
55' Free-kick to Arsenal! David Luiz commits a foul just outside the box and Giroud stands over the ball. This looks like Ozil territory but the French striker wants it. Ramsey also comes forward to take it. Who will it be?
...
55' FOUL! Batshuayi finds himself one on one with Elneny but the Arsenal man has the ball. The striker attempts to get past him but hauls him down to the shrill whistle of the referee. Elneney even asks him to produce a card.
...
54' Arsenal pass the ball around a tight Chelsea defence and even Laurent Koscielny makes inroads into the Chelsea box to help Arsenal advance.
...
53' Ozil finds himself all alone with two Chelsea players surrounding him out on the right. With no support, he tries to keep the ball before he is dispossessed, turning over possession.
...
49' A quick Chelsea counter-attack sees Alonso shake off Chamberlain and then make a lateral pass to Batshuayi who strikes it first time from the edge of the box. It sails into the top corner and Ospina cannot do anything about it.

What. A. Goal!
...
GOOOAALLL! Arsenal 0-3 Chelsea
...
48' Girouuud... Misses the ball! Ramsey chips the ball over the defence and Giroud leaps into the air, extending his foot to get a touch. But it's a couple of feet too far for him to make contact.
...
46' Giroud makes an immediate impact, holding up the ball and trying to play in Welbeck. But Chelsea's defence stand firm.
...
Conte has no issues with Giroud playing and so the officials finally allow him to enter the pitch. PEEP! We're underway!
...
The game's restart is delayed as Olivier Giroud's name is not on the teamsheet and the match officials are refusing to allow him to come on. Wenger is absolutely furious!
...
HALF-TIME SUBSTITUTIONS: Welbeck, Kolasinac, Giroud and Koscielny come on for Arsenal. Caballero comes on for Chelsea.
...
And we're back! The players make their way out at the incredible Bird's Nest stadium for the second half.
...
We're awaiting the start of the second half. Stay tuned!
...
PEEP! HALF-TIME: Arsenal 0-2 Chelsea

Willian
and Batshuayi got on the score sheet with both goals scored in 90 seconds in the first half. Che;sea have been excellent and have punished Arsenal for two costly mistakes.

The Blues have been the better team going forward and have also been solid at the back. Arsenal never really got a clear opportunity on goal.
...
45+3' RAMSEY... SAVED! The Welshman found himself through on goal and allowed the ball to bounce inside the box before unleashing a volley on goal. But the angle is against him and Courtois' big palms deny Arsenal a goal.
...
45+2' Chelsea counter quickly through Boga but Oxlade-Chamberlain sprints back 50 yards to stick a foot out and get the ball away from him. That was a lung-busting run to get back from the Englishman.
...
45' FOUR minutes added on in the first half. Really? It's pre-season!
...
44' Bramall tries to make amends and skips past three Chelsea players but just as Lacazette tries to get on the end of it, Cahill makes the all-important clearance to deny him a shot on goal.
...
42' Bramall loses the ball in possession and Kante picks up the pieces to find Batshuayi who curls a left-footed effort past the stranded Ospina. That was a beautiful goal!
...
42' GOOOAAALLL! Chelsea 2-0 Arsenal
...
40' Mertesacker over-commits in a tackle and Batshuayi's turn is impeccable. He finds Willian making a run and releases him. Willian then takes a shot that curls past Ospina and goes in off the far post.

1-0 Chelsea
...
40' GOOOAAALLL! Chelsea 1-0 Arsenal
...
...
37' Boga makes a quick run in behind the Arsenal defence but his decision-making isn't the best as he gets trapped by the defenders. Eventually, Chelsea switch flanks and Moses' cross is sent out for a corner by Mertesacker's boot.
...
36' GOOO...OFFSIDE! What happened there? Fabregas found Batshuayi after being slipped through by Kante and the striker finds the roof of the net. But the flag is up for offside. The linesman feels Fabregas was offside when he received the pass but that was a questionable call. It was very, very close.
...
35' OSPINAAA! Double save from the Colombian goalkeeper who first palms away a Willian shot before diving to his right to prevent Moses from finding the top corner.
...
33' It's only pre-season but Cotne is already barking instructions from the touchline. How we've missed that this summer.
...
30' Cue the water break as half-an-hour is played at Beijing's Bird's Nest Stadium. It must be said that the pitch is nowhere close to the quality the players are used to back in England. The grass looks too long and there are mounds of grass that look dangerous to anyone going in for a tackle or aerial duel.
...
SUBSTITUTION: That's the last we'll see of Pedro who is down on the touchline receiving treatment. 20-year-old Jeremie Boga comes on to take his place (probably the only time he will play for Chelsea before being farmed out on loan).
