Wow! After a frantic first half that was really dull and lifeless, and Barcelona have managed to nick a win tonight and more importantly all their players got a run out, it is all that matters in a pre-season friendly.

90+4' And it did appear with the ball falling to the feet of Martial, who has all time in the world to beat Cillessen with a curled finish but his shot is blocked before Rashford blasts it over.

90+2' Manchester United are passing the ball around in a hopeful manner, waiting for the chance to appear on a silver platter.

88' Manchester United are bombing forward in numbers looking for a late equalizer. Will they be able to score a late goal?

84' Manchester United survive. Fellaini is having a poor game. The Belgian hits an undercooked pass towards Romero with Alcacer lurking and the shot-stopper had to rush to clear the ball with the ball taking a wicked deflection of the Spanish forward.

83' YELLOW CARD: Fellaini is the first player to go into the referee's books for hacking down Roberto to end Barcelona's counter.

80' Fellaini goes down under a challenge from Vidal in Busquets-esque style and the Barcelona players are not happy. The Belgian receives some treatment and we are underway.

78' The game has lost much of its urgency and spark since half-time or rather after MSN left the pitch. Especially, Neymar and Messi, who had a telling impact in the first half.

76' Barcelona have a free-kick down the right and Iniesta stands over it. The Barcelona captain swings it towards the far corner but it is cleared by the Manchester United defence.

73' It is now Pogba's turn to try his luck from distance but his shot does not have the required venom and Cillessen saves.

72' First, it is Rashford's turn to take a shot but it is blocked by a sliding tackle from a Barcelona defender only to fall into the path of Pereira who - once again - lets it fly from range but it is saved easily.

70' Barcelona look toothless in attack and shaky in defence and Pereira tries to make the most of it as he aims to find the back of the net from a long way out.

68' Lukaku and Rashford have been trying hard to make things happen for Mourinho's side, the duo have only partially succeeded in their attempts so far.

65' Romero with a sharp save to deny Alcacer from close range after the Spaniard had successfully latched on to an over the top through ball.

62' Substitution: The 16th substitution of the game and Anthony Martial comes on to replace Lingard.

61' Mourinho had talked about hoping to not lose any more players in the game to injuries but he will not be happy as Lingard is struggling and is about to be taken off.

59' Turan gets away from his marker and tries to release Digne down the left but his pass is cut out and Manchester United look to break.

54' Barcelona are happy to keep hold of the ball and pass and probe looking to find the ideal opportunity to strike.

5 out of those were for Manchester United, while Barcelona changed their entire line-up, excluding the goalkeeper.

45' HALF-TIME: Barcelona 1-0 Manchester United

43' United try to hit Valverde's side on the counter with Pogba leading the charge. The Frenchman curls it into the path of Lukaku who fails to get a touch and it finally reaches Lingard, whose poor touch helps Barcelona win a throw-in.

42' Messi goes on yet another run and Blind has to hang on to his shirt to stop him. The Argentine swings the resulting free-kick and Suarez attempts to connect with an acrobatic volley and he manages to do so forcing De Gea into making a brilliant point-blank save.

40' Messi, once again, has the ball and he bombs forward but is brought down by Pogba and the referee awards Barcelona a free-kick. The free-kick is about 25 yards and the diminutive Argentine sizes it up before striking it with his left-foot and it curls JUST over the far corner of De Gea.

Umtiti is giving Lukaku no space to wreak havoc but will the Belgian brute able to shrug off the Frenchman and make his mark in this game?

37' Messi has dropped very deep in midfield with Alena also playing ahead of him. Is this his future now? Is this Barcelona's future?

Manchester United are struggling to get hold of the ball as Barcelona have started to dominate proceedings. It is Neymar and Messi who are at the center of everything for the Catalan giants.

Messi drives forward with the ball and threads one through to Neymar down the left but Valencia intercepts but the job is only partly done as the Brazilian robs the full-back before pulling off the silkiest of ROULETTEs to get rid of Daley Blind before slotting it past De Gea. PURE GENIUS!

31' GOOAAAAALLLLLL!!! WHAT A BRILLIANT GOAL BY NEYMAR! SENSATIONAL STUFF!

28' Messi, Suarez and Neymar link-up to create problems for the Manchester United defence but the resulting shot is tame and it is saved easily.

27' Pogba slides into a challenge hoping to dispossess Neymar but the Brazilian is too swift for the Frenchman as he bombs forward and tries to find the run of Suarez but it is intercepted. Barcelona win the ball back and Messi has the ball inside the box but he cannot drag his effort on target. He is not having the best of days in front of goal.

25' Pogba has the ball and should let it fly but he opts to pass it to Rashford down the right, the forward under pressure from Barcelona's defence passes the ball back to Pogba, who tries to curl it into the top corner but it sails wide.

23' Messi blasts the resulting free-kick into the wall and Manchester United look to build up from the back.

22' Nothing significant happens from the corner before Barcelona counter but Messi is brought down and they win a free-kick some 40 yards from goal.

20' Pogba shrugs off Alena and goes on a lung-bursting run down the right to win his side a corner.

19' Now Rashford skins Semedo to cut in a play a quick one-two with Lukaku but the ball hits the young forward's arms and Barcelona win a free-kick.

18' From the resulting corner, Rashford leaves Umtiti for the dead before forcing an excellent save from Cillessen.

17' Lingard and Lukaku exchange a few quick passes before the midfielder tries to curl one into the top corner but it is diverted behind by the Barcelona shot-stopper.

15' "EXTRAORDINARY FROM PAUL POGBA" yells the commentator on air as the Frenchman hammers one towards goal with his right on the turn from all of 25 yards, drawing a good save from Cillessen.

13' MESSI guides it just past. The Argentine magician drives into a gentle burst before taking it to his preferred foot and trying to beat De Gea at his near post but it is wide.

11' Barcelona are the side currently asserting themselves on the game. Mourinho's men are happy to sit back and absorb.
