He broke down the right and lined up to shoot as Moreno came from behind, pushing and not allowing him to get the shot away. But the RB Leipzig man hits it just wide of the far post and demands for a penalty.
50' Mexico win a corner and Giovanni swings it in with his left. The ball is accurate and Jimenez tries to guide it into the back of the net but it is over and Germany survive.
47' Werner almost capitalizes on a defensive lapse by Mexico as he almost gets hold of the ball in the box but Ochoa is quick to come off his line and gather the ball.

36' What a MISS by Chicharito! Giovanni spots his run into the box and tried to find it, however, Kimmich is there to block it but the ball somehow squeezes through him and Hernandez with only an onrushing keeper to beat, fires over.

19' Ochoa makes a great save to keep Mexico in the game. It is Goretzka again who starts the move, sliding the ball on to Rudiger, who curls a ball into the path of Werner, who lines up and tries to squirm it underneath the legs of Ochoa but he gets down excellently to stop the shot.
17' Draxler goes on a mazy run through the middle before cutting away from goal, however, Germany lose the ball before it finds it way to Stindl who couldn't get his shot away.
15' Werner makes a run down the left this time and Kimmich tries to find it with an over the top ball but he gets a little more weight behind it and Ochoa gathers.
