is reportedly close to agreeing a one-year contract extension at Arsenal in the next few days. There were rumours that he was set to be loaned out this month but those rumours have been put to rest now.

Swansea City and Deportivo La Coruna are said to be interested in signing former Chelsea winger Gael Kakuta on loan according to L'Equpe.

The 25-year-old winger is playing for Chinese Super League side, Hebei China Fortune.

CAVANI TO SING NEW PSG CONTRACT

Edinson Cavani has confirmed that he's agreed a new contract at PSG amid interest from China. Speaking to Uruguayan radio station Radio Nacional, he said: “It’s true that I am close to renewing [my contract] with PSG. After long conversations, an agreement has been reached.” 

“Various aspects, of which my brother has been in charge, have been finalised – I concern myself with playing football. I hope to continue at PSG and to do so with the same desire and the same passion. I hope to achieve great things here.”

COMEBACK IS ON!
Ronaldinho's agent has confirmed that the Brazilian legend is looking to make a comeback this year. The former Barcelona and AC Milan star wants to player in the Libertadores and has made himself available for the clubs.

“After a quiet year in which we had the opportunity to fly around the world, travel, see other countries we did not know, to be with people, to feel their affection, that’s the idea. The 2017 project is to play again and see how things happen. We think he will play in a team that is in the Libertadores. I spoke to some intermediaries [about Nacional], but things are still very quiet. When something official arrives, the club will be able to speak” said the agent.

COSTA AGREES PERSONAL TERMS WITH CHINESE CLUB
Tianjin Quanjian have agreed personal terms with Chelsea forward Diego Costa according to their president, Shu Yuhui. The club however, are yet to agree a fee with Chelsea for the potential transfer.

“We have managed to find an economic agreement with the entourage of Diego Costa, but Chelsea has stated that no one will be sold before June” said the president to CalcioMercato.com.

Chelsea are not willing to sell Costa as they want to keep hold of all their key players in order to win the Premier League title. Antonio Conte is said to be frustrated with Costa after the striker's head turned following the Chinese offer.

Arsenal are said to be plotting a move for M’Baye Niang when Alexis Sanchez leaves the Emirates. According to Mundo Deportivo, the  AC Milan forward has caught Wenger's eyes and see's him as a proper replacement for the Chilean.

Sanchez has 18 months remaining on his current deal and has not yet agreed to sign a new one. He expressed his desire to remain at the club but his frustration at the club not managing to win matches has been clearly seen on the pitch.

West Ham United have also been keen on sign the 22-year-old Italian as they seek a replacement for Zaza, whose loan move from  Juventus was cancelled earlier this month.

JUVENTUS REVEAL ZAZA FEE

Juventus have revealed that Simone Zaza's move to Valencia was for €2 million but will be made a permanent one in the summer if he plays a certain number of games.

The permanent move would cost the Spanish side €16 million and also a €2 million bonus depending on his performance at the club.

MULLER TO CHELSEA?

Chelsea are eyeing a move for Bayern Munich star, Thomas Muller as are looking for a replacement for want-away striker, Diego Costa. The Premier League leaders are reportedly lining up a £75 million bid for the German international, who is said to be unhappy at the club.

Manchester United and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on Muller while Real Madrid are said to be remotely interested as well.

Muller has not performed well under Carlo Ancelotti and has scored just once this season in the Bundesliga.

Reports suggest that Pep Guardiola will be handed £250 million as transfer budget to turn Manchester City into champions again.

The Citizens have been struggling in the Premier League and are currently 5th in the league table. The former Barcelona manager suffered his worst defeat in a league match on Sunday when they got trounced 4-0 by Everton.

Guardiola is keen on signing on signing full-backs and a goalkeeper soon as he's not happy with Bravo.

Diego Costa trained by on his on yesterday while the rest of the Chelsea squad enjoyed time off. He has been linked with a move away this month but now it looks like he will remain at the club till this season is over.

The striker reportedly had a bust-up with manager, Antonio Conte last week and he did not feature in the squad that defeated Leicester City 3-0 on Saturday.
