CHELSEA HUNTING FOR BEGOVIC REPLACEMENTS

Chelsea have reportedly set sights on signing Brighton goalkeeper, David Stockdale. Begovic has begged Chelsea to let him leave the club and so the Blues' are on the hunt for a goalkeeper to play 2nd fiddle to Courtois.

FIRE AT OLD TRAFFORD
A small fire has broken out at Manchester United's stadium today morning. The Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Services were called in and they attended the blaze in the stadium's South Stand.

Confirming the incident, Manchester United tweeted: "A small electrical fire was identified quickly in the Sir Bobby Charlton stand around 7am today. The fire brigade attended & the isolated incident was dealt with quickly & effectively. There was minimal damage & there were no injuries."

A spokesman for GMFRS said: "We were called at 6.58am to Sir Matt Busby Way. Three fire engines from Manchester, Salford and Stretford attended the scene. We have isolated the electrics and extinguished the fire using breathing apparatus and a CO2 fire extinguisher. We are still on the scene."

The fire has now been extinguished and nobody has been injured.

BEGOVIC WANTS TO LEAVE CHELSEA
Chelsea's 2nd choice keeper, Asmir Begovic has confirmed that he is looking to leave the club soon.

“I have spoken with the boss - we are quite open about it, he knows I am desperate to play, and that’s all it is really. If he can make it happen for me he will. That is something that is going to be sorted out in the next couple of days. I’m 29 – 30 in the summer – and feel fantastic and in great shape. It would be a waste not to play and show people what I can do.” said the goalkeeper after Chelsea's win in te FA Cup.

The former Stoke City shot-stopper has been a target for Bournemouth and Sunderland
