According to Sky Italia, Liverpool have reportedly turned to Lazio defender Stefan De Vrij after ending their interest in Virgil van Dijk. The Reds have identified De Vrij as a much cheaper alternative after feeling bitter at the end of the Van Dijk saga.

The 20-year-old is United's third choice keeper behind David De Gea and Sergio Romero and has impressed during his time on loan at Portuguese side Belenenses in the Liga NOS.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has emerged as a target for his former club AC Milan after he was released by his current club Manchester United. The Sweden international starred for the Italian giants between 2010 and 2012 and was a key member of the side.

Borussia Dortmund have slapped a €90M price-tag for Barcelona target Ousmane Dembele, according to Mundo Deportivo. Bonucci was a key element in Conte's Juventus and Italy sides in the past and the Chelsea manager would love to recruit him at his new club with a deal that will make him the second highest paid defender in the world.

Serie A giants AC Milan and Roma are believed to go head to head for the signing of €30M rated RB Leipizig winger Emil Forsberg. The 25-year-old Sweden international registered 22 assists to go with his 8 goals in the recently concluded season. According to Mediaset premium, Leipzig have rejected an €18M for the player from Milan.

FC Barcelona are interested in making a £44M for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Weigl according to reports. The player has reportedly handed in a transfer request at the Signal Iduna Park and is planning to squeeze his way out of the club.

Newcastle United are reportedly close to signing defender Florian Lejeune from Eibar. Rafa Benitez has identified the 26-year-old as the perfect candidate to lead the Magpies' back line after he impressed for the Spanish side when they finished in the top half this season. The player has an £8.7M release clause attached to his contract.

An unnamed Chinese club are reportedly planning to offer Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo €200M to sign for them, according to AS. The Chinese super league outfit will offer the 32-year-old a €120m-a-year deal and will head to Madrid next week to propose the deal to Florentino Perez and produce a formal transfer offer.
