58' What a save by Navas! Atletico are now piling on the pressure but Koke Griezmann's shot is saved heroically by Keylor Navas. That should've made it 2-1 in favour of the visitors.

57' A lovely little one-two between Griezmann and Vittolo sets up a delightful goal for Atletico Madrid. Vittolo just gets there in time before Navas could collect it and lays it off to Griezmann who finishes into an unprotected net. Great response.

54' There could have been yet another one for Ronaldo! Gareth Bale swings one into the box and Asensio tries to help it onto the path of Ronaldo but Savic clears it for a corner. They can't create anything of note from the corner though.

53' Gareth Bale gallops down the left flank and looks up to find Ronaldo making a run into the area and he pumps it in and it is served on a plate for Ronaldo who goes for goal, first time. And he thumps it into the far bottom corner. What a brilliant finish!

39' Bale spots the run of Ramos who dares to venture into Atletico's box and Bale finds him. His attempt at controlling the ball deflects off Savic. Real Madrid want a penalty for handball and the ref says nothing doing.

38' Gareth Bale makes an intelligent run down the left flank and Marcelo spots him and then finds him. Bale tries to dink it over Juanfran but it hits his body and goes out for a corner. Godin clears from the corner.

37' Bale puts a lovely ball into the box with the outside of his left foot from the left flank and it goes over Ronaldo and they can't salvage anything from the scraps.

35' Carvajal slides a ball from the right side to Ronaldo who feigns and lets it run to Asensio. Asensio then sweeps it across to Bale on the right side who tries to cut it back for Ronaldo to pounce upon but unfortunately, his cross is wayward and Atletico deal with the danger.
