Marcos Alonso scored twice for Chelsea in the 2-1 win over Tottenham

It's Wembley Woe for Spurs with all three goals being scored by a player in a blue shirt. Marcos Alonso's goals in either half (first a free-kick and then a counter-attacking finish) sees Conte's side come away with their first points of the season.

Tottenham's only solace was an own goal from Michy Batshuayi.

Spurs never lost at White Hart Lane last season. They've already lost their first game at their new (temporary) home.

90+3' Alonso is down on the turf after an aerial duel with Sissoko sees the Spurs man elbow him in the face. He takes his time to get back to his feet, obviously.

90' FOUR MINUTES ADDED ON

We've just seen the replay of Conte's celebrations after the goal and he looked like he had won the million-dollar lottery and the key to the Playboy mansion!

88' A Spurs corner turns into a Chelsea counter-attack. Batshuayi goes down in the box and the referee waves 'Play on'. But Spurs win it back and Pedro finds Alonso making a run. His shot is low and beats Lloris to find the back of the net. 2-1 to Chelsea and it's a brace for Alonso!

GOOOAAALLL! Tottenham 1-2 Chelsea

86' Free-kick for Spurs again after Bakayoko fouls Eriksen. The Danish midfielder crosses the ball into the box yet again instead of going for goal but can't find a teammate. However, they do get a corner from the resulting melee.

83' Alderweireld now concedes a free-kick for being a little too physical with Pedro. The Spaniard takes it himself but his cross doesn't find the target with Bakayoko moving away from goal to try and get to the cross.

82' Eriksen's cross into the box is wicked and it's Michy Batshuayi who scores an own goal! If he was wearing a white shirt, that would have been the perfect example of a run and headed finish from a set-piece with Courtois taken by surprise.

81' Free-kick for Spurs out on the left. This time only Eriksen stands over it.

SUBSTITUTION: Spurs also make a change and it's an attacking sub with Moussa Sissoko replacing Ben Davies.

SUBSTITUTION: The Mask of Pedro comes on for Willian while Michy Batshuayi comes on for Morata.

77' Dembele drives through the Chelsea defence like an unstoppable train but as he tries to feed Kane with a pass through, it was a touch too heavy and Courtois mops up at the back.

74' At the other end, Trippier attempts a cross to the near post but it's too close to Courtois who makes a comfortable save. Chelsea have been waiting to make a substitution for quite some time now with no stoppage in play presenting itself.

73' CLANG! Chelsea hit the post now! Willian had the ball outside the box and the unassuming Brazilian suddenly let fly a strike that beat the diving Lloris but Spurs are saved by the woodwork.

STAT: Tottenham have had 72% possession in the second half!

70' Morataaa... MISSES! Chelsea counter with the man advantage and Willian feeds Morata. The Spaniard hesitates but eventually takes a shot under pressure and the deflected shot goes wide. Nothing comes of the corner for the Blues.

SUBSTITUTION: Dier has come off for Son

67' Kante finds space on the right to gallop into and he quickly sends in a cross. But it's way too high for Morata to get his head to. The Spaniard could have made contact...

If he was three feet taller.
If he tried really, really hard.
If he had the leap of a kangaroo.

65' Both managers are preparing substitutes to come on. Son and Pedro are warming up for Spurs and Chelsea respectively.

64' Spurs win a corner. And it's Morata again who clears the danger.

Chelsea aren't able to get out of their own half at the moment. No matter what they do, Spurs just keep coming back with wave after wave of attack.

61' FOUL! Dele Alli is fouled on the left flank by N'Golo Kante and Spurs have a free-kick. Eriksen whips it in but Morata clears the cross into the box.

59' It's a scrappy game in what is now a very crowded midfield with neither side able to string more than two or three passes together. Chelsea are sitting deep with Willian and Morata patrolling the area behind the centre circle now.

55' Trippier does well to stay onside and gets on the end of a looong ball to place the ball neatly into the box. Kane was arriving but Christensen got there first to boot it clear.

54' Chants of "Come on you Spurs!" echo around Wembley as the home crowd looks to pick up their side. They smell an opportunity but Chelsea are resolute in defence - playing a back five when they don't have the ball with the wing-backs sitting deep.

51' YELLOW CARD! Jan Vertonghen goes into the book for a high boot on Moses. The away fans are baying for red but referee Anthony Taylor is kind.

50' Alli sends in a cross that Alonso attempts to clear. But all he does is find his fellow defender Christensen. Luckily the ball ricochets off his leg and falls kindly to Courtois. The young defender looks dazed and relieved at the same time.

48' Spurs are up for this! Harry Kane glides past Rudiger like he wasn't there and takes a shot that is blocked yet again. Another Spurs corner, but again no end product. Chelsea are yet to wake up.

46' Beautiful! Harry Kane drags two defenders away and then back-heels the ball into Alli's path. He was free to take a shot before Azpilicueta came sliding in for the block. Great work from the stand-in Blues captain!

HALF-TIME: Tottenham Hotspur 0-1 Chelsea

A Marcos Alonso free-kick is the difference between the two sides after the first 45 minutes.

Spurs would not have wanted the haf-time whistle to come judging by their momentum towards the end of the half. Conte will be relieved as the Blues have not exactly done much after the goal in the 24th minute.

45+2' Dier attempts to tap in the ball from close range after a cross is fired in but Luiz does enough to ensure there's no shot on goal. The ball looked to have come off Luiz's boot but Chelsea win a goal kick, much to Dier's dismay.

45' THREE MINUTES ADDED ON

ANOTHER STAT: Harry Kane has never scored a Premier League goal in August for Spurs.

44' DAVIES.... SAVED! His strike on goal from distance takes a slight deflection but Courtois dives to his left to parry it away. Spurs are hungry for an equaliser before half-time.

42' Harry KAAANNNEEEE... CLANG! I don't believe it, it comes off the post!

Alli skips past a challenge before releasing Kane who cuts in on his favoured right foot for hos trademark strike on goal. He beats Courtois but it comes off the upright to deny Spurs the equaliser.

39' So close! Eriksen curls the ball in (and what a wicked curl that is!). It was low and missed EVERYONE including the far post, going out for a Chelsea goal kick.

38' YELLOW CARD! David Luiz is booked for an off-the-ball foul - an elbow on Eriksen. Spurs have a free-kick near the right corner of the box.

37' Spurs are behind but they're playing a patient game, passing the ball around the box. Chelsea, meanwhile, have camped in their own half for now.

34' Luiz is back up on his feet but now it's Bakayoko who is down after a collision with Dier. He's sprawled on the pitch in pain while Dier quickly walks away from the scene of the crime.

31' YELLOW CARD! Dier and Luiz chase a 50/50 ball and Dier's tackle cleans out Luiz who falls to the ground writhing in pain. The Brazilian needs treatment and the physio is on.

The last thing Conte needs right now is another crucial player sidelined.

29' Harry Kane almost goes through on goal with a superb ball from Dier but his shot is blocked. Kane then attempts to win a penalty by getting in Alonso's way when a cross comes in but the referee is not impressed. Spurs fans are livid!

27' Oooh, Toby Alderweireld almost gets a header on goal on a Spurs set-piece. But his effort flies just wide of Courtois' goal.

Marcos Alonso curls the ball over the wall and Lloris makes a dive in vain as the ball finds the back of the net! He had no chance of saving that - that shot was perfect in its trajectory. 1-0 to Chelsea and the Spurs fans at Wembley have been silenced.

23' FOUL! Alli raises his boot to stop Luiz and concedes a free-kick from... well, David Luiz range. However, Willian and Alonso are standing over it.

22' Chelsea win a free-kick out on the right after Wanyama elbows Moses in the face. No yellow card, though.
