Phew! That was some good La Liga football, lads and lasses. Barcelona were dominant in the first half, but Valencia raised their game in the second half and will feel they should have won the game. Guedes will feel he should have taken that chance on the break when they were a goal to the good.

Kudos to Barca for digging deep, like they did against Atletico away from home, and they won't be too unhappy with the point. That disallowed goal in the first half will still get on the Barca fans nerves, though. Nevertheless, Barca keep their lead at the top over Valencia and are still eight clear of both the Madrid sides.

90' Simone Zaza is back defending! Some effort he has put in tonight. Barca get a corner and Paulinho finds himself free in the box! He mistimes his jump, though, and Valencia get a goal-kick! Dear me!

88' Valencia's passing has been pretty lackadaisical in the last few minutes. Barca have raised their intensity, to be fair. Meanwhile, Suarez manages to find himself onside, at last, but dwells on the ball too long and Gaya is back in time to make the challenge.

75' Deulofeu again drifts to the centre and passes it to Alba. He looks for a return pass on the left but the pass is a bad one and is intercepted by Garay.

74' Messi comes deep and tries to maraud forward. Sadly, Valencia are so well drilled that Messi loses the ball and the hosts are back in possession.

73' For all the beautiful football Barca played in the first half, they have rushed into passing it quickly this time and that has been their undoing. Valencia have done well in the second half.

71' Guedes, free on the left, is excellently picked out by Kondogbia and nearly cuts in and manages a second goal for the side! While shooting, though, he was off balance and the shot is out for a throw-in, it was that bad!

70' Poor from Deulofeu. He has nowhere to go on the right, and decides to go to the centre and gives it away! Valencia counter, but can't make anything off it! Valencia are so well structured now that they have something to defend!

69' Seems like they'll switch back to the 4-3-3. But that three-man midfield could fall apart on the Valencia counters. Big call from Valverde.

66' It's end to end now. But boy, Barca have lost their shape as they are in search of an equaliser. Valencia are able to pass it around now. All they need to do is stifle the game by keeping the ball. They will find more space.

63' Valencia nearly score a similar goal again! But this time Umtiti is back in time to intercept. On second viewing, that looked like a pen, though, as Umtiti seemed to get more of the man than the ball! Guedes and Valencia will be hard done by that!

62' Right! This is a real test for the away side. Nothing is gonna change in the game, as Valencia will play on the break even now. But boy do the players and fans look buoyed!

Guedes and Gaya combine well on the left, with the latter making a good overlapping run on the left to catch Semedo off-guard. The fullback finds Rodrigo after Ter Stegen isn't able to intercept the pass! Good team goal that!

59' The second half has been pretty even so far, and kudos to Valencia for being more quick and direct with their passing. Barca are still creating more chances, though.

58' Iniesta fouls Parejo. Freekick to Valencia.

57' Guedes with a chance! He was one v one against Umtiti and shifted to his outside and took a shot. Ter Stegen read it well and smothered the shot! The German has been ever so solid this season and showed it again there!

56' Barca keep the ball well and Messi nearly manages to receive a pass from Rakitic on the right. After squaring it off to the Croat, the receiving pass was too heavy!

54' Messi is fouled again, this time by Soler. They've done well to stop the game tactically, though it's a foul, to prevent Barca from breaking forward often. And it's a different player every time!

53' Valencia need to make the most of this early second-half burst. The minute Barca are back in their rhythm, it's going to get hard physically and mentally. The away side win a freekick near their own penalty box. Good pressing by Soler, though.

52' Barca now create a move of their own with Messi at the heart of it. He squares it to Semedo on the right, who's cross is cleared for a corner.

50' Gaya and Parejo pass it well before the latter squares it to Zaza on the edge of the box. The Italian's shot is just wide at the far post! Valencia have looked very bright and direct!

49' Messi has the ball and makes a darting run, but Suarez is offside again! Not the first time he has been caught offside, lads and lasses. Needs to keep his run in check.

48' Penalty calls from the Valencia players are turned down by the ref! Kondogbia went down far too easily!
