Gary Lineker is here to save the day with some familiarity. Some English, finally. On the updates front, we're still sauntering our way there. Phew, this is exhausting.
...
Alright alright alright. Buckle up.
...
An extended Russian dance segment is going on. While it is pleasing to the eye, I can't help wonder about the relevance of this. I set my alarm to 8:30 to dive right into the action. Feels like I signed up for pre-game jam too. Should've taken a later bus, eh? But at least we're edging closer with every passing second.
...
World Cup legend and record goalscorer Miroslav Klose has arrived with the trophy and, lord o lord, what a thing of beauty it is. We missed the sight of you, it's been 4 years.

Somebody play Closer on the radio- 4 years no calls, now you're looking pretty in a Moscow hall.

...
...
The draw is edging closer and the clock has got everyone moving to the edge of their seats. Hold on, my lads. Within an hour, we'll have a half-a-year worth of banter material on our hands.
...
The tension is palpable but the speeches are going to take their sweet time to finish. No disrespect to the dais or the dignitaries but life should really come with a fast-forward button, ja feel?

Alright alright alright. We're here and the proceedings will start shortly.
...
Just 15 minutes to go and we're as restless as ever.

We got something to whet your appetite.

Here is our very own Rohith Nair examining all the possibilities- 2018 FIFA World Cup pots - how many Groups of Death can we get in the draw?
...
...
...
3 hours to go and we can't wait to find out where the sparks are going to fly and who the sun is going to shine on. You simply can't downplay the importance of tonight. Warning signals will sail from one coast to the next and the pre-production unit can begin working on the blueprints. But until then, we'll need to sink ourselves into our seats lest we are called madmen.

But those who were seen to be dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music, right?

Let me know what your thoughts are on tonight's FIFA World Cup draw on Twitter- @goddamnhunter

Stay tuned for we understand your restlessness and you'll receive the updates as and when the hammer drops.
...
Just another 4 hours left for the draw to begin! Who will 2014 Champions Germany face? Will Leo Messi's Argentina go one step ahead this time around? Will England finally get an easy group?

So much to ponder and think about. Stay tuned!
