According to Fox Sports, Real Madrid club director Manuel Cerezo was quoted saying "Yes, I'd like to see Chicharito back at Real Madrid as we feel that he is an excellent player".
His colleague Santiago Aguado upon being questioned about the Mexican striker further added, "Chicharito like any player needs his time to adapt to the new situation, there is a lack of urgency at Real Madrid and when the opportunity to move to Leverkusen came round it was a move he opted for and it's great to see him doing well.”
He believes that the Mexican did not get the deserved time to adapt at Bernabeu but reviews his brief performance at the club as 'mixed'.
