Indian U-19 National Football team would face U-19 Slovenia in the second match of the Four-Nation Tournament.
India was invited to this stage after a stupendous display in COTIF CUP, where Floyd Pinto’s men caused a huge uproar after conquering the Argentine U20 team. But the colts succumbed to a 5-0 defeat against Croatia to open their campaign.India were simply outclassed by their opponents and were already out of the contest in the first half thanks to a flurry of goals by Croatia who were clinical in front of goal while Indian strikers profligacy made matters worse for Pinto’s squad.
On the other hand, Slovenia earned a prestigious 3-3 draw against mighty French side, launching a tremendous comeback after being down by 2 goals.
