France press with three corners and Adrien Rabiot almost scores the goal of the tournament as he acrobatically volleys with his left-foot just over. Had that gone in, would've outdone even Richarlison's effort earlier in the tournament.

Great chance off a corner for France and Aurelien Tchouameni's header is deflected just wide as it takes the back off a Danish defender.

Another big chance for Denmark but Lloris saves the day with a save and barks at his defenders. From the left it is cut back to a man in the middle who side-foots at Lloris who is up to it.

GOAL! Andreas Christensen in the 68th minute! France 1 Denmark 1. Talk about an instant reaction. From a corner, it's flicked on to the big defender who gets in ahead of Rabiot to power a header past Lloris. Now it's all to play for.

GOAL! Kylian Mbappe in the 61st minute! France 1 Denmark 0. France break away on the left and Mbappe has space to run into he finds the underlapping run of Theo Herandez who cuts a reverse pass back, Mbappe with two defenders in front of him, splits them both and with the help of a slight deflection gets the goal as Schmeichel fails to push it away.

What a chance for Antoine Greizmann who gets on the end of a ball over the top and then cuts inside the defender before shooting over. That was a very good chance. Needed to hit the target.

What a turn from Mbappe near the centre circle and then he bursts away and then strikes at Kasper Schmeichel who punches it away. Good strike that.

A slow start to the 2nd half. No real chance so far.

HALF-TIME! France 0 Denmark 0. A half which had a lot of chances but both sides were not clinical enough to turn that into a goal. It is France who look the most likeliest to score first but don't rule Denmark out too.

This game is now getting more open. Dembele gets in behind the back five of Denmark and crosses to Mbappe in the middle who shoots over from 8 yards. At lest needed to hit the target there.

Rasmus Kristensen with a lovely piece of skill nutmegs Theo Hernandez on the right and delivers a cross for a tap-in to the middle but no Danish striker gambles for it. A great chance.

For a loopy cross, Giroud sneaks in but pushes his header wide as the defender got tight to him.

Now Denmark break and Andreas Cornelius on the right with men in the middle, opts to shoot and the ball fizzes wide of the near-post even though Lloris had it covered.

France are knocking on the door now. Griezmann on the left gets away but has no support so shoots it at the goalkeeper from a tight angle, who stops it with his foot.

Mbappe gets away on the left, he cuts inside and threatens to shoot on his right foot but then cuts the other way and cross to the far-post, Kounde strikes it at goal but a Danish leg is in the way.

Now Andreas Cornelius goes into the book for standing on Giroud's foot even though both were going for the ball.

Good save by Kasper Schmeichel as the header comes at pace at him following a header. He pushes it away. First shot on target from France.

Lovely ball in from Griezmann and Mbappe is away, so Andreas Christensen has to take one for his team as he pulls him down. France want a red card but it's an YELLOW for the defender. Fair enough as there were two others covering for him running alongside Mbappe.

From the corner a glancing header goes to the far-post but a Danish defender on the line clears it away. It was going in I guess. The header was glanced by Raphael Varane.

A terrific ball from Griezmann but it's a Danish head that flicks it away to clear the danger.

Olivier Giroud tries to volley from 6 yards out but completely kicks the air. A good chance that.

Denmark have started nicely but France counter through Ousmane Dembele but his shot is blocked.

Denmark are coming into the game after successive victories over France in the last 6 months and this is what France coach Didier Deschamps had to say before the game: “They are underestimated as a team,” he said. “We are talking about a four-month period where they beat us twice and made life very difficult for us. We will have to make sure that’s not the case [this weekend]. It is not a question of revenge because we know the Danish players and they know us. They can change system from one match to the other and that can give us different types of difficulties.”

Denmark are an exciting team to watch, but they will feel disappointed after failing to beat Tunisia in their opening game. It was the perfect fixture for them to kick-off things in style in Group D.

Didier Deschamps was handed a huge blow in the opening game when Lucas Hernandez limped off with an injury. It has been confirmed that the France defender will now miss the rest of the season after damaging his ACL.

France have been unlucky with injuries in the build-up to the tournament as well, with the likes of Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kante, Christopher Nkunku and Karim Benzema among players to have missed out!
