HALF TIME Kalinga Lancers 0-0 Ranchi Rays

Quarter 2 - Another penalty corner to Lancers and what do you know, another save by Lovell. Lancers might end up ruing so many missed chances.

Quarter 2 - This quarter has been dominated by Lancers with Ranchi Rays attacking a few times in between.

Quarter 2 - Craig injected and GURJINDER forces an excellent save from Lovell. Fantastic period of domination from Lancers as they follow the PC with yet another attack and Glenn Turner almost scores.

Quarter 2 - Lancers get a penalty corner but it is saved by Lovell. Another attack by Lancers and they win yet another PC

Quarter 2 - Tom Craig with a fabulous run and he passes it to Glenn Turner, who cannot put a finishing touch to the move.

Quarter 2 - Ranchi Rays get another penalty corner. Manpreet injects, Ashley Jackson goes low but it is deflected off Gurjinder and it is a long corner to Rays.

Quarter 2 - Ranchi Rays attack again and the shot by Ashley Jackson is saved yet again by Abhinav Pandey. Ranchi Rays refer it and want a penalty corner.

Quarter 2 - Manpreet places a beautiful pass to Christopher Ruhr, who dribbles past a few defenders and is fouled. Another attack by Ranchi Rays and Pandey pulls off an incredible save but Kalinga Lancers concede a penalty corner.

Quarter 2 - Manpreet surges forward for Ranchi Rays but it is intercepted Uthappa, who makes a run but his drive goes outside.

Quarter 2 - Kalinga Lancers have lost the referral here and they will regret taking it.

Quarter 2 - The second quarter is underway and Kalinga Lancers have possession and they surge forward. A lapse in Ranchi Rays defending hands the ball to Bakker, who sprays the shot wide.

Quarter 1 - Ashley Jackson with some excellent stick work to square a pass to his striker but the pass is too high. The first quarter comes to an end but we are still goalless in Bhubaneshwar

Quarter 1 - ANOTHER COUNTER ATTACK by LANCERS!! Tom Craig takes it forward and pulls it back but excellent goalkeeping by Lovell to avert the danger. Ranchi Rays have come close to conceding a couple of times here.

Quarter 1 - Great pass played into the Lancers' circle to Ruhr, who takes a shot but it is saved by Pandey. Sumit cannot get the follow up away. Ruhr has been electric in the first quarter.

Quarter 1 - Lancers attack through Dixon, who dribbles past a few defenders deep into the Rays' circle but it proves to be too much work and he is dispossessed.

Quarter 1 - Christopher Ruhr is showing his quality and intelligence quite early in the match and looks quite threatening for the Ranchi Rays.

Quarter 1 - Ruhr tries another variation and it is defended well by Lancers, who launch a counter attack and manage to breach the circle. The shot is then struck on the side netting. Chances on both ends. Exciting hockey being played here.

Quarter 1 - ALMOST!!! Christopher Ruhr fakes a hit and dribbles past the defender but Pandey keeps him at bay. Another penalty corner.

Quarter 1 - Moritz Fuerste tries to play a long pass but it is intercepted and that is followed by Ranchi Rays winning a penalty corner.

Quarter 1 - Kalinga Lancers have clearly enjoyed the lion share of possession in the first few minutes and are controlling the match as of now. A lot passes being completed. Pardeep Mor with a good run and pass to the forward line.
