And there we have it. The first Kolkata derby of the season comes to an end with the Mariners grabbing the bragging rights thanks to Kingsley Eze's headed goal in the first half. Both the sides played on the attack and the capacity crowd in attendance got their money's worth.

90+5 ' - The set-piece is not cleared well and falls to Laldanmawia who tries from a overhead kick but the shot is wide off the target!!

90+5' - Sony Norde fouls Gurwinder from behind that throws up a chance for a last set-piece for KEB. Can they grab a late equalizer ??

90+3' - Al-Amna comes close after a ball into the box falls to the Syrian and he unleashes a shot but it goes wide off Paul's goal and the home side escape.

90+2' - Mohun Bagan are defending in large numbers and a clearance from the defense almost finds Faiaz through on goal but Gurwinder makes up the ground and keeps the ball in possession of the away side.

90' - The fourth official has shown five minutes of added time as KEB have a chance to equalize in the injury time meanwhile Mohun Bagan will aim to hold on to the lead and grab the victory in the first derby of the Hero I-League season.

86' - WASTED CHANCE!! Sony Norde receives the ball at the top of the box after a cross from Kromah but his shot is too high to trouble the KEB goal.

78' - Sony Norde tries to break into the left side of the box and passes it to Kromah who goes past one defender but is unable to take a shot on target as his effort deflects for a corner.

75' - Another opportunity for Mohun Bagan as a corner from Norde falls to Rainier after a failed clearance but the young Mumbai lad is unable to keep his shot down and the ball goes way over the KEB goal.

73' - PLAZA!!! The KEB forward should have pulled the trigger instead he chose to draw the penalty foul from Kinshuk after receiving the ball in the Bagan box. Appeals to the referee but the man in-charge doesn't deem it worthy of a spot-kick.

71' - FInal 20 minutes of action left to go here at the Salt Lake Stadium as Mohun Bagan lead thanks to the 38th minute headed strike from Kingsley Eze giving the home side the advantage. East Bengal have been constantly attacking the Bagan goal but the defense has been well-organized by Sanjoy Sen as they have weathered the attacks so far.

67' - An ambitious effort from the diminutive winger Brandon V but the shot sails high over the Bagan goal causing no trouble at all to veteran Shilton Paul between the sticks.

64' - CLOSE!!!! Plaza is brought down and Yusa stands over the free-kick. The Japanese tries to curl it past Shilton Paul but it just misses the target and smashes the side-netting much to the relief of the Bagan fans.

62' The hour mark has passed as Mohun Bagan are playing deep now with East Bengal going all out for the equalizer. The home side intend to catch the Red and Golds on the counter.

59' - CHANCE!!! East Bengal manage to quell another chance as Kromah was put through on goal but Kingsley Eze matches up to him and manages to just press him to allow him a chance to take a shot.

57' - The injured Dicka has been taken out by Sanjoy Sen and former Mumbai FC man Shilton D'Silva comes in his place as Sen packs the midfield to counter the East Bengal midfield threat.

56' - Al-Amna makes a great run into the Bagan box on the right side and tries to sneak a low cross but Barretto is up to the task and collects it calmly to avoid any danger.

54' - Another stoppage from the ref as Kinowaki brings down Al-Amna in the midfield putting an end to a good counter-attacking move by the away team; the Japanese is livid at the referee's decision but escapes a booking for his dissent.

53' - Asier Dicka, last season's top scorer in the I-League is down after clashing with Eduardo Ferreira in the box and is being laid down on the stretcher and the medical staff attends to him along the sidelines behind the goal.

51' - Deepak Kumar clears a cross from Brandon from the left side as Dipanda Dicka was lurking inside the box ready to double the lead for the home side. Good marking by the KEB defence.

50' - Five minutes in and we have already seen fouls all around the pitch as Kinowaki is brought down by the hulking De Souza

47' - Sony Norde stands over a freekick about 30 yards outside but his effort goes over the goal as it is too powerful and doesn't dip in time as the Haitian would have liked.

45 ' - The second half proceedings kick off here at VYBK Stadium or the Salt Lake as it is popularly known around the world with East Bengal making a change at the start as Charles De Souza comes on for Armand Bazzaou with Khalid Jamil making his second change in the match in what is an attacking substitution.

Kingsley's header makes the difference for the home side as we have seen an exciting game of football here in Kolkata. Both sides started well with chances created at both ends but Bagan slowly took control of the tempo and managed to make their momentum count. 23' - CHANCE!! Sony Norde gets through on the left side and tries to slot it past the KEB keeper Barretto but his shot is saved and almost falls to Dicka but Bazzaou takes him down as Bagan appeal for a penalty but the referee denies.

22' - Plaza comes close!!! The tall forward receives the ball in midfield, moves past two defenders and unleashes a curling effort that doesn't bend enough to be of any trouble to Shilton Paul.

19' - Kromah has gone down with what looks like a knock and the physios are attending to him.

18' - Sony Norde finds Kromah at the top of the box who turns one defender and lets a shot go but it deflects and loses the steam and falls easily for Barreto in the KEB goal.

14' - First booking of the match as Mehtabh Singh is booked by the referee for a harsh tackle on Sony Norde as Gurwinder Singh locks horns with Dipanda Dicka after an unnecessary kick on the striker. Gurwinder has to be careful!

11' - The midfield battle between the Japanese players - Katsumi Yusa and Yuta Kinowaki - continues as Yuta gets the better of the former Mohun Bagan man who brings him down in the middle of the park.

10' - Mehtabh Singh from the right takes a cross but his effort beats everyone in the box as both the sides have started well on the attacking front.

6' - Sony Norde has been taken down by Armand as the Bagan key man is being hounded by two men from the start, East Bengal realising the danger that the winger possesses.
