Two penalties decided the fate of the sides today in Kolkata as Mohun Bagan and Shillong Lajong share the spoils. Shillong Lajong recovered well with a solid showing after their crushing 5-1 defeat against East Bengal. Mohun Bagan miss out on the chance to go atop the standings and are perched second on the table behind Minerva Punjab FC.

Dipanda Dicka's 12th-minute penalty strike separates the two sides as we have witnessed the end of an intriguing half here in Kolkata as the Lajong side have given a tough fight to the Mariners in the first 45 minutes despite going down early. 45' - First yellow card of the game shown to Shilton as he fouls Al-Hagri from the back.

45 ' - Two minutes of added time has been indicated by the fourth official as the score stands 1-0 for Mohun Bagan.

42' - Lajong are playing intensely as they look to get an equalizer before the stroke of half-time as they trail by a single goal scored by their former striker Asier Dipanda Dicka.

39' - The effort by Samuela is well-taken but falls just short of curling inside the Bagan goal as Shilton Paul dived across and saw the ball go out for a goal-kick.

38' - Freekick for Shillong in a good area as Raynier Fernandes' challenge is too high as Samuela steps up for the dead-ball situation. Can he equalize with a free-kick goal like he scored against East Bengal FC?

34' - CHANCE!! Dipendu Dowary has a good shot at the goal from the left after controlling the ball well on his chest and volleying the shot but his effort goes wide off the goal.

28' - End to end stuff in Kolkata now as both the sides are stringing together passes well and trying to catch the other on the counter but the defences for the teams have been in good touch.

22' - SAVE!!! A good attack through the center from the away side and Samuela, the skipper manages to take a shot after turning two players in the box and takes a good curling effort but Shilton Paul produces an incredible diving save and palms away the ball for a corner.

20' - A couple of attacks from the Northeast side but Bagan have been quick to press them and are making it difficult for Shillong to settle.

12' - GOAL!! Asier Dicka scores against his former side and doesn't celebrate but displays an incredible gesture as he showcases his fellow team-mate Yuta Kinowaki's jersey to the crowd as a sign of respect for the Japanese player's injury.

11'- PENALTY!! Mohun Bagan's winger Sk. Faiaz is brought down in the box by Rakesh Pradhan after the Shillong Lajong slashes at the ball taking down the youngster who has gone down and seems a bit hurt. Dicka is up to take the spot-kick against his former side.

6' - The Bagan crowd is good in numbers and are making their voices heard as their chants echo around the stadium as their side look to carry their winning momentum and maintain their unbeaten run in the league.

2' - Earl scare for Shillong as a free-kick from the right is headed across the goal by a diving Eze but Lachenpa clears the ball away from danger.

1' - And the ref signals the start as Mohun Bagan attack from left to right in the first half in their traditional Green and Marron whereas Shillong Lajong is in the White and Red kit.

Bobby Nongbet has just one change to the Shillong Lajong side that lost against East Bengal with Yemeni midfielder Aiman Al-Hagri coming in for the Reds as Lalrohlua is on the bench today evening.

The Mohun Bagan side sees a number of changes as Sony Norde and Kromah have been replaced by Naro Hari Srestha and Dipendu Dowary. The injured right-back Arijit Bagui makes way for Abhishek Das and Yuta Kinowaki, the midfield general from Japan is replaced by former Mumbai FC man Shilton D'Silva.

Sanjoy Sen's Mohun Bagan have been dealt with some injury blows as three of his star foreigners - Sony Norde (Haiti), Yuta Kinowaki (Japan) and Ansumana Kromah (Liberia) have been ruled out of today's clash.
