After a brief collapse in the middle order that saw Adnan Ilyas, Mehran Khan, and Aamir Kaleem being dismissed in quick succession Amir Ali combined with Jatinder Singh to take their team closer to the target.

There were vital contributions from the top order as well, especially from Zeeshan Maqsood and Khawar Ali who got Oman off to a blistering start. Their 69-run opening stand laid the foundation for then middle order.

Ali played one heck of a cameo, hitting 31 off 17 with 5 fours and 1 six.
