It was an odd innings from Karaikudi Kaalai. They got off to a good start but lost a wicket in the final over of the powerplay. Although Anirudha Srikkant almost scored another fifty, he never really looked in control on a wicket. Although quite a few batsmen got starts, Karaikudi lost wickets at regular intervals and that meant that they couldn't really capitalize towards the end. The final over saw three wickets fall as Karaikudi were eventually bowled out for 158.

OUT! Karaikudiare bowled out for 157 and after two wides, Abhishek Tanwar picks up a wicket to end the innings. Mohan Prasath is the last one dismissed.
