So, as it turns out, it was indeed a No Mark finish for India's Ranjeet Bhati. And that brings us to an end of sporting action as far as India is concerned on Day 4.

The Indian contingent made a strong start to the day with Bhavina Patel's semifinal win. And after a mixed bag in archery, we ended with a slight disappointment on the track and field. But with plenty of action to come on Day 5, the contingent is likely to come back strong!

Rules:
All athletes are given a total of six throws in the final, but unlike in the events with athletes without disabilities, an athlete is expected to complete all his throws before the next athlete steps up.

The three athletes with the farthest throws at the end walk away with the medals.

Brazil's Cicero Valdiran Lins Nobre, who will be competing in today's event as well, is the reigning world record holder. He threw a mammoth 49.26m at a meet in Dubai in November 2019 to score the record!

Lins Nobre will definitely be a big favorite to walk away with the gold in the event. The Brazilian came agonizingly close to the podium in Rio 2016, finishing fourth!

India's Ranjeet Bhati faces an uphill battle in the packed field, but can he come up with a special performance?! We shall find out soon!
