Ratanbala Devi (not in picture) scores for India against Nepal but the goal went in vain

The referee plays an extra minute but India are unable to find an equaliser.
It ends 2-1 in favour of Nepal. India cannot trump Sabitra Bhandari's first-half brace. Even though Ratanbala Devi pulled one back for India off a free-kick, the Blue Tigresses couldn't convert their chances against Nepal.

Soon after, Nepal's Sabitra Bhandari finds herself in a good position on the left. She tries to the curl it to the far post but it's off target.

Jabamani Tudu drops a cross from the left and Anju Tamang fires a shot at goal, which goes over the bar!

Jabamani Tudu finds herself in a great spot inside the box. But instead of shooting it first time, she takes a touch and allows the Nepali defenders to close her down.

Nepal break on the counter and it's the goalscorer Sabitra who threatens.
She cuts back from the touchline but Sweety Devi whips it away for India.

And India respond to the Nepal threat. No they don't have a goal yet but that's some good display of football.
It's Dalima Chhibber this time, who fires a long-ranger from about 40 yards out. The ball dips but misses the bar by inches!

Ratanbala Devi finds herself space inside the box. She turns to go for goal but the shot is blocked by an onrushing defender. Dalima Chhibber then hits it long, which goes for a goal-kick.

There's crowd of players in the box and Indumathi takes a poke at the goal.
But it flies over.

19' Aditi Chauhan now recovers from her early howlers to collect the corner and try to play Sanju on the counter. India, however, give the ball away.

15' Indumathi lifts it over the Nepali defenders to send Dangmei Grace on a chase but India don't make most of the chance.

There's a chance for Anju Tamang but she falls into the goalkeeper and needs some treatment.

And India are exposed.

She opens up for space and tries to find the bottom-right corner.
Aditi Chauhan gets a hand to it but she doesn't block it well and it flows agonisingly into the goal.
