Welcome to the live blog of the men's singles quarter-final match of the India Open between B. Sai Praneeth and Chen Tien Chou at the Siri Sports Complex.
Sai Praneeth has shown some good form in his first two matches of the tournament. In the first round, the World No. 18 had a tough time beating Rajiv Ouseph in three sets. However, he was in top form in the second round when he saw off Hong Kong's Hu Yun in straight games.
In the quarters, he faces a stern challenge in the form of World No. 7 Chen. In absence of Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy, both of whom crashed out in the previous rounds, Sai Praneeth leads India's charge in men's singles and he will have to take up the onus.
