Constantine might be happy with three points but not with the way the team played in the game. Long balls, unnecessary take on and a centre-midfield that was AWOL. Not things you would want to see at the beginning of the campaign.
Myanmar should be lauded for the effort. They might be 40 places behind India in the FIFA rankings, but seeing this game, you wouldn't be at fault if you had thought that it was the other way round.
That was a sumptuous counter attack that any team in the world would be proud of. It was Sunil Chhetri who won the ball back for India and kept on running to the other end. His run was aptly rewarded by that pull back by Udanta. And when it mattered most, Chhetri touch didn't let him down.
89' - Another ball from the left for Myanmar. A good one at that. Finds an unmarked Ko Ko in the middle. But that's an atrocious header from the forward.
The Indian are failing to do the easy things or rather spot the easy passes. Too many long balls, to many take-ons and that has led to no rhythm in their build-up play.
56' - Gurpreet comes out. But could only palm it. The ball finally falls to the Myanmar skipper Yan Aung Kyaw. A shot from around 30 yards which is just a couple of feet over the bar.
