Sensational end to a historic game. West Indies land the first punch, but then so much could happen tomorrow. We will be back with all the action. Keep calm and enjoy cricket. Ta Ra...

...

Carlos Brathwaite: "I spoke to Dwayne, and he is a champion, he always steps up when it is needed. It was a fantastic wicket, and then for the batsmen to step up and put up this effort. You can't expect more, could not really tell who the home team is. Fantastic support, great crowd."

...

Evin Lewis is the man of the match.

...

MS Dhoni: "I think it was an amazing game, I felt the way they started, 250 looked like a par score. The last ball, the thinking was right, execution was wrong. You have to keep up with the rate, what was good was that we kept the run rate at 11.5 to 12 rpo. Rahul was outstanding, some of the other batsmen were amazing too. The crowd was amazing, we get support wherever we go."

...

Presentation time.

...

Dwayne Bravo: "I said nothing to lose. In a situation like this I really like to Test my skills. I used my two important balls, the slower ball and yorker. We put in the short mid-wicket. I actually didn't want to bowl a slower ball, but I saw Dhoni moving across and that is when I decided to bowl the slower on at the last moment. The crowd was fantastic."

...

If the first Innings was carnage, the second innings was a blitz. India came out all guns blazing, but then when Kohli and Rahane were dismissed, things became a bit tricky. Enter KL Rahul and along with Rohit Sharma he smoked the Windies bowlers to all parts of the field.

Rahul was in blazing form and he kept smoking them clean, and scored an absolute blinder of a century. Dhoni chipped in with few big hits to keep it going.

India got to their highest T20 score, and in the process came close to breaching an almost impossible score. 1 run is the margin in the end. 1 run, spare a thought for KL Rahul. He did everything but could not win the game.

...

Spare a thought for KL Rahul. Who played an innings of a lifetime to get India close, but the captain can't complete the job.

...

19.6 Bravo to Dhoni, OUT! India lose! Bravo wins the battle. Shellshocked. This might be one of the greatest cricket matches the world has ever seen. A slower ball, a repeat of the first delivery, a repeat of the shot, Marlon Samuels completes the catch. West Indies win.

...

Who will come out on top? Bravo? Dhoni? KL Rahul can only cross his fingers.

...

2 required off 1 ball. MS Dhoni at the crease. India. West Indies. What a story.

...

19.5 Bravo to Dhoni, 2 runs, full ball on middle stump, can't get under it and drills it straight back, he gets his hands on it and they cross for the brace.

...

19.4 Bravo to Rahul, 1 run, low full toss, drilled out to long on. This has been exceptional from Bravo. Simply exceptional.

...

19.3 Bravo to Dhoni, 1 leg-bye, length ball on the pads, it hits him and they scamper across for one.

...

19.2 Bravo to Rahul, 1 run, full ball on middle stump, carved to sweeper cover for one. 6 required off 4.

...

19.1 Bravo to Dhoni, 1 run, OH MY GOD, Dhoni DROPPED! Dhoni has a wild swipe at a slower special delivery from Bravo, it balloons to Marlon Samuels, who has the easiest job in the world, a simple catch, but he lets it slip. What a moment.

...

8 needed runs from the last over. MS Dhoni is on strike. Bravo will bowl it. Let's go.

...
Lokesh Rahul
MS Dhoni
...

18.6 Russell to Rahul, 2 runs, nearly a yorker on middle stump, Rahul clips it to square leg for a brace.

...

18.5 Russell to Rahul, 2 runs, full and outside off, Rahul carves this over cover for a brace. Only 10 more needed.

...

18.5 Russell to Rahul, 1 WIDE, down the leg side.

...

Russell has been taken to the cleaners. Rahul is blitzing it at the moment. This is India's highest score in T20Is.

...

18.4 Russell to Rahul, FOUR! Length ball and outside off, he presents a flat bat, lifting it over cover and it lands on the boundary on a bounce. Rahul kept his shape perfectly there, all timing, all grace.
