Dhoni: "Games get really close in this format, and Zimbabwe have performed really well. They need more games to get better. You want to win games, but yeah, I wanted to bat more as well. The fast bowling department requires a big pool of players, and we have done well. It was a good exposure for the youngsters. Games like these help you, and we got more to learn out of the T20 series."

Cremer: " I was happy with the way the guys fought, and I am happy for India. We came back well in the first game and nearly won the series. If we carry on playing consistently well, we can get better".

Sran (on the last over) " 21 runs were enough to defend for the final over, and I was very confident. The plan was changed midway after the first two balls."

Zimbabwe started off cautiously, but lost two quick wickets. Sibanda then unleashed some fluent strokes to get the chase going. After that, Moor took charge, but the spinners put the brakes in the middle overs. Timycen Maruma, with a quick cameo, almost took the hosts past the line, but was unable to hit the last ball for a boundary to give India a series victory.

19.6 Sran to Chigumbura, OUT! Heartbreak for Chigumbura, heartbreak for the Zimbabwean team and all of their fans. INDIA WIN BY 3 RUNS. Gets down the track to a full ball, converts it to a low full toss but can't get great contact on it, just manages to balloon it to Chahal at cover who takes an easy catch. India win!
