Mohun Bagan are all set to take on Shillong Lajong at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneshwar, on Wednesday, in the quarter-final of the Super Cup.

The I-League teams have impressed in the Super Cup, with Mohun Bagan defeating relegated side Churchill Brothers in the Round of 16 match. Incidentally, the Green and Maroons, who have had a mid-season managerial change, are yet to face an ISL team this season.

On the other hand, Shillong Lajong had a difficult fixture against FC Pune City in their Round of 16 match. Remarkably, Lajong were 2-0 down early on in their match against the Ranko Popovic coached side. However, the completed a remarkable turnaround, to beat the Stallions 3-2 by virtue of a last-minute penalty.

Now, as the two I-League teams face each other in the quarterfinals, we are assured of at least on I-League teams making its way to the lsemis of the competitions.
