So, the RCB are alive in this year's IPL! They come back to Bangalore now and play the Mumbai Indians next in a crunch encounter. Be back tomorrow with coverage of the game between the Rising Pune Supergiants and the in form Sunrisers Hyderabad. See you and good night.

MOTM Watson said, "It's definitely nice to get a bit of momentum for RCB, to get a couple of wins back-to-back is nice. It's really simple at the death, I want to be clear where I want to bowl, have no doubts, just keep your mind clear. It's trying to outsmart the batsman, I'm a batsman luckily, so I can think about what one would do in such a situation."
...
The man of the match is Shane Watson.
...
Kohli said, "It was my poker face in the deep. Two points in the bag, feel as sweet as the 50 run win in the first game, beggers can't be choosers. I would credit Murali Vijay for the way he batted. KL was going well, so I thought of hanging in there and playing the anchor. Losing two wickets in one over was criminal. ABD was magnificent and champion players stand up when you need them. A victory gives confidence to the whole team, the bowlers can take heart from their performance today. Credit to Jordan, everyone has off days but he kept his composure."
...
Vijay, "The game went to the last over, so it was a good game overall. We took the game to the end and the bowlers restricted them to 175, so plenty of positives. Had told my bowlers to maintain their lengths as AB plays with the field. I told Stoinis let's take the game deeper and play our natural shots, told him to stay till the end. Stoinis did that but unfortunately we couldn't get across the line. Everybody in the dressing room is maintaining a positive dressing room."

RCB stay alive in this year's IPL, it was a matter of one solitary run! Kohli is pumped, Vijay is heartbroken. Jordan will enjoy his night but mind you, he almost conceded 17 and lost the game. RCB still need to look at their bowling, for Punjab, this was the final straw and you have to say it, they looked doomed for a battle at the bottom this season. AB laid the platform, Chahal and Watson got the wickets and Jordan finished it. Good win for RCB.
...
19.6 Jordan to Stoinis, 2 runs, RCB WIN! Gets a full toss but can't get it away. Alas! Heart-break for KXIP! Jordan gives a low-full toss, Stoinis hits it but not in the gap. The ball runs to Stuart Binny at deep midwicket. They cross over for two but that is not enough, one more run and they could have eked out a super over. Jordan roars in delight!
...
4 TO WIN OFF 1. JORDAN v STOINIS.
...
19.5 Jordan to Stoinis, 2 runs, full toss on his waist, he gets an edge off the bat and the ball runs to de Villiers at cover.
...
19.4 Jordan to Stoinis, no run, tries to for an unnecessary ramp shot. It is slow and outside off. Cant get it away.
...
19.3 Jordan to Stoinis, SIX! Dances forward and meets the ball on the full. Hits through the line and over the infield for a huge six. NERVES OF STEEL, Marcus Stoinis! Didn't cross for the second off the first ball and he's taken off here.
...
19.2 Jordan to Stoinis, FOUR! Over pitched on the off stick, he carves it along the carpet to the deep cover fence. That's a shot you normally see at the beginning of the game, great cover drive that pierces the fielders in the off side. Peach of a shot.
...
19.1 Jordan to Behardien, 1 run, low full toss on the pads, he hits it hard but straight to square leg where Chahal fields.
...
Jordan, final over.
...
Watson has stepped up memorably with the ball for his team today. 4 overs - 22 runs - 2 wickets. Punjab need 17 to win, 16 for super over.
...
18.6 Watson to Behardien, 1 run, full and on the stumps, he can only dig it to Kohli at long off to retain strike.
...
18.5 Watson to Stoinis, 1 run, on the middle stump, he clears his leg and pulls it but straight to long on.
...
18.4 Watson to Stoinis, no run, bangs it in short, Stoinis cant make contact.
...
...
18.3 Watson to Stoinis, FOUR! Low full toss, carved backward of point for a crucial boundary. Stoinis has clicked into gear after the departure of Vijay, this was a great shot!
...
18.2 Watson to Behardien, 1 run, ball climbs on to him after pitching, he pulls it awkwardly to square leg for one.
...
18.1 Watson to Behardien, no run, length ball just outside off, he tries to go inside out. Makes no contact.
...
Watto to bowl the penultimate over.
...
Behardien started with a boundary, Stoinis finishes with a boundary, Jordan seemed to get it right finally and bowl 4 good balls in between. This over had it all! 24 required in 2 at 12 runs an over. All 3 results possible here.
...
17.6 Jordan to Stoinis, FOUR! Unleashes a ramp shot and helps the ball over the head of short fine leg. The ball reaches the fence in one bounce. Great bit of innovation from Stoinis here.
