Losing captain Smriti Mandhana: It was good to take the match to the final over but we were 10 runs short. Wicket was really slow but 145-150 would have been a good total but in T20 cricket anything can be defended and anything can be defended. I have told harman that I am not playing PS 4 with her for 7 days because you picked up the catch. Suzie helped me a lot in taking the decisions.

17:15 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Well done to all the women who played in the historic exhibition match at the Wankhede stadium. Hope this is a foundation stone for the women's IPL in the future.

17:14 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Thanks to Megan Schutt's fine bowling performance backed by some notable contributions with the bat from Harmanpreet Kaur, Sophie Devine, Dani Wyatt, Supernovas beat Trailblazers by three wickets.

17:12 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.6 Bates to Pooja, 1 run, THAT's IT. A wild heave from Pooja finds the gap and it is enough for both the batters to finish the run and win it for their team.

17:12 (IST)22 MAY 2018

1 runs to win off the last ball. All three results possible. Pooja on strike

17:11 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.5 Bates to Perry, 1 run, another full delivery and Perry hits it straight to Smriti Mandhana at cover.

17:11 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.4 Bates to Pooja, 1 run, full outside off and Pooja's mistimes heave goes straight to the long-off fielder and the batters take a single.

2 needed off 2 now

17:10 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.3 Bates to Pooja, no run, another full delivery, and Pooja hits it back to the bowler

17:09 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Pooja Vastrakar on strike

17:09 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.2 Bates to Perry, 1 run, full outside the off-stump and Perry pushes it to the long-off fielder for a single.

17:08 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.1 Bates to Perry, dot ball, Perry tries to cut the ball and completely misses it

17:07 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Last over of the game and Supernovas need four runs to win. Ellyse Perry holds the key here.

17:06 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Lazy running between the wickets from Mona Meshram finds her short of the batting crease after Smriti Mandhana collects and threw it directly at the stumps.

Mona Meshram run out (Smriti Mandhana) 4

17:05 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Ellyse Perry goes over the top and hits a four. With that, the margin is reduced to six off seven balls.

17:03 (IST)22 MAY 2018

10 needed off the last 12 balls to win and Ekta Bisht comes to bowl.

16:59 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Three overs to go and the Supernovas need 16 runs to win.

Jhulan Goswami to bowl her last.

16:56 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Two wickets in quick succession!

Suzie Bates strikes yet again as Harmanpreet Kaur holes out to Lea Tahuhu. Her side need 17 runs off 21 balls to win.

Harmanpreet Kaur c Lea Tahuhu b Suzie Bates 21

16:52 (IST)22 MAY 2018

What was that shot, Veda?

Veda tries to scoop arguably the best fast bowler to grace the sport, Jhulan Goswami and ends up getting bowled. That was not needed at all.

Veda Krishnamoorthy b Jhulan Goswami 2

16:47 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Supernovas need 24 runs to win off 31 balls as Veda Krishnamoorthy walks out to bat.

16:46 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Suzie Bates strikes!

Kiwi skipper Suxie Bates beats the defence of her national teammate Sophine Devine and hits the middle of middle stump.

Sophie Devine b Suzie Bates 19

16:44 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Harman gets into the act as she just opens the face of the bat and finds the gap between the backward point and short third man fielder.

16:41 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Devine gets going with a huge six over the square-leg boundary. This reduced the equation for her team.

100 comes up for the Supernovas.

16:39 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Both Harmanpreet and Sophie Devine are just keeping the scorecard ticking without losing their wickets. Supernovas need 40 runs to win off 42 balls.

16:28 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Almost another one! A mix-up between both Sophie Devine and Harman as the Indian skipper sends the Kiwi bat back. Thankfully for Devine, Alyssa Healy was late in collecting the throw and whipping the bails off.

Supernovas 74/3 after 10 overs

16:25 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Poonam strikes again as she sends back the dangerous Meg Lanning, who tries to loft one over the long-off fence and offers Jemimah Rodrigues a simple catch.

Meg Lanning c Jemimah Rodrigues b Poonam Yadav 16

16:17 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Indian T20I skipper Harmanpreet Singh comes out to bat. Two of the best batters from the team of world-class batters, Lanning and Harman are batting together at the moment.

16:16 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Poonam comes back strongly as she gets the better of Wyatt as her mistimed shot finds Beth Mooney at long-on.

Danielle Wyatt c Beth Mooney b Poonam Yadav 24

16:15 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Poonam Yadav comes into the attack to bowl her loopy leg spins and concedes a boundary to Wyatt.

16:14 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Ekta's first over conceded 11 runs and got the important wicket of Mithali.

After the field restriction overs, Supernovas are sitting pretty at 51/1.

16:12 (IST)22 MAY 2018

One of the best limited-overs batswomen and Australian skipper Meg Lanning comes out to bat.

16:11 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Mithali Raj departs. She fails to connect a full-toss off Ekta Bisht and offers Lea Tahuhu a simple catch at mid-wicket.

Mithali Raj c Lea Tahuhu b Ekta Bisht 22

16:10 (IST)22 MAY 2018

11 runs off Shikha's first over, thanks to Mithali's heroics. Ekta Bisht comes into the attack.

Supernovas: 40/1 after 5 overs

16:07 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Mithali Raj is breathing fire here at the Wankhede. First, she hit a six over long-on, thanks to a proper text-book cricket shot and now, she guides the ball past the backward point fielder for a boundary.

16:06 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Shikha Pandey comes into the attack and straightaway creates a chance for a caught and bowled. Unfortunately, the ball hit her wrists and went away. To be fair, that was a tough chance for anyone to catch off his/her own bowling.

16:01 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Dani Wyatt breaks the shackles as she pulls a length delivery over the square-leg fielder for a four. This will get her going

15:59 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Jhulan Goswami, arguably the best bowler of all-time, vs Mithali Raj, arguably the best batter of all-time facing off against each other. How often have we seen this in the past?

15:58 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Nothing much happened after the chance off the first ball and Jhulan completes her second over conceding just seven runs.

15:56 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Danielle Wyatt skies a Jhulan delivery and it went so high giving the mid-on fielder Beth Mooney enough time to run back and put in a full-stretch dive. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough for her as the ball fell meters away from the Aussie. Wyatt survives.

15:54 (IST)22 MAY 2018

A steady start for the Supernovas as White Ferns pacer Lea Tahuhu conceded just three runs off her first over.

Jhulan will continue bowling from the other end.

15:49 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Goswami gives away two boundaries from the opening over, one of them being a delectable cover-drive from Mithali Raj. The Supernovas are 8-0.

Lea Tahuhu to bowl from the other end.

15:44 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Legendary Indian batswoman Mithali Raj and England's Danielle Wyatt open the batting

15:34 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Trailblazers lost wickets at the top and they couldn't really get going. Despite a valiant effort from Bates and Jemimah Rodrigues, all Trailblazers finish with 129/6. Megan Schutt was the pick of bowlers for Supernovas.

15:30 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.6 Schutt finishes with a perfect yorker and all they can do is sneak a single as Schutt finishes with figures of 2/18 in her four overs and Trailblazers finish with 129/6

15:30 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.5 Schutt goes for the slower ball outside off and misses it completely. Trailblazers aren't getting the final flourish they neeeded.

15:29 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.4 Schutt goes wide again and this time Shikha can just get a single.

15:29 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.3 Schutt goes with another one that is slightly wide and Shikha cuts that perfectly past sweeper cover and places it well enough to pick up two.

15:28 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.2 Schutt goes for the slower one second time out and all Shikha can do is just punch that back to her.

15:28 (IST)22 MAY 2018

19.1 Schutt begins with a length ball outside off and Hazell quickly takes a single to get Shikha back on strike.

15:27 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Megan Schutt comes in to bowl the final over of the innings.

15:27 (IST)22 MAY 2018

Trailblazers 124/6 after 19 overs. Perry picked up the big wicket of Suzie Bates and Trailblazers are losing momentum now.
