ATK are defeated in their first home match as FC Pune City play to their strengths and run away winners in grand fashion. Marcelino proved his worth as he grabbed a brace of goals as well as assists. ATK were reckless and their mistakes were pounced upon by the attacking duo of FCPC. Sheringham will expect better from his side in the next match as ATK will look to bounce back quickly as they have two tough away fixtures up next and Pune host Mumbai City FC in their next fixture.

59' - GOOALL!!! Pune extend their lead as Marcelino grabs his second on the night. Marcelino gets on the end of a pass from Tebar and lets the shot loose that deflects off the ATK defense into the goal. Visitors two up now.

51' - PUNE Strike Back!! Rohit Kumar is not picked up by any defenders from the ATK side as he runs and nods a great delivery from Marcelino past the hapless Debjit in goal. What a turn of events in two minutes.

49' - ATK have equalized!!! Bipin Singh scores from a freekick as the 22-year curls the ball into the top corner with a stunning effort. The ball comes off the post after beating the diving Pune keeper. The crowd has gone wild here at the YBK Stadium in Kolkata.

46' - And the second half is up and running as Baljit Sahni receives a yellow card for a rash challenge on an ATK midfielder.

41' - Pune City defense has learned from their poor performance against Delhi where they let in 3 goals. Today, they have been organized and have managed to keep ATK at bay so far in the match.

36' - A long freekick into the box gets bounced around a couple of times before falling to Hitesh Sharma who takes a volley but is unable to keep the ball down and it skies over for a goal-kick.

35' - Kuqi receives the ball in the box after a mistaken back-pass from Rohit Kumar but he has a difficult angle and the shot goes wayward not causing any trouble to Kamaljit Singh.

28' - CHANCE!!! Great run by Zequinha and he takes a toe punt with great force but Kamaljit saves and the rebound falls to Hitesh Sharma who is unable to bury the chance.

23' - ATK make a quick break on the left wing but the attack comes to no fruition as the Pune defense manage to keep them out.

16' - ATK almost respond immediately as Prabir curls a low cross into the center which Kuqi cannot control and is then cleared away by the Pune defense.

13' - GOALL!!! And against the run of play, Pune have taken the lead. And who else but captain Marcelinho.
A mistake by Tom Thorpe leads to Alfaro running away into the box and he spots Marcelinho who slots it calmly past Debjit Majumder.

11' - Kuqi has a great chance after a Zequinha cross into the box but his effort goes wide off the ATK goal as the defense had put enough pressure on the Finnish striker to unsettle him.

7' - Lyngdoh with the first shot on target for ATK but it is a speculative on from way outside the box and is easily dealt with by Kamaljit in the Pune goal.

5' - ATK's Hitesh Sharma takes a shot in the box after a decent ball into the box from Zequinha but it is cleared by a header and play is stopped as Thorpe goes down in the box after a clash of heads.

4' - Hitesh Sharma slots a ball through for Bipin on the right wing but Gurtej clears the cross away for a throw-in.

3' - And now its Pune who have made their first foray into the ATK box as a clearance from Perreira leads to the first corner for Pune.

After an average start to the season, both ATK and FC Pune City will be aiming to get their first win of the ISL 2017 season on board, as they face off at the Yuba Bharati Krirangan, better known as the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, today.

ATK got their campaign underway against title rivals Kerala Blasters with a goalless draw at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, in Kochi, last week. They are lacking some firepower up front, as their marquee player and former Tottenham Hotspur star Robbie Keane is set to miss around the first five weeks of the tournament.

Meanwhile, FC Pune City will also be looking to get their first win of the season, after losing their first match 3-2 against the Delhi Dynamos. However, they have shown good attacking intent in the first match against Delhi. It would be interesting to see whether theycan turn things around in front of a packed Salt Lake Stadium.
