FT - The ref calls an end to the game as the season opener of the ISL Season 4 ends in a goalless draw. Both the teams were solid in defense but lacked in the final three as Berbatov had a night to forget in his Indian football debut. ATK will be left ruing their chances as they should have capitalized on their first-half showing.

The second half was more even but the sides played defensive football and lacked the attacking intent.

91' - Berbatov has his first shot on goal with a header straight at Debjit in the ATK goal as we head for the final seconds in the game.

90' - 3 minutes of play has been added on as extra time with the sides still locked at 0-0 as we enter the injury time with Kerala having a corner attempt.

89' - Both the sides have slowed their game down as it almost seems like they are playing for the 0-0 draw.

87' - Nemanja Lakic-Pesic has been declared the 'Hero of the Match' for his steely defense fending off the ATK attacks till now with his determined performance.

82' - The two changes made by Kerala manager Muelensteen show the home side's intent as both the changes will add much-needed pace to the Blasters in the final moments of action.

The home side makes two quick changes as C.K VIneeth and Courage Pekuson make way for Prasanth and Jackichand Singh respectively.

73' - Another chance for ATK!! Robin Singh receives the ball on the left side and goes past a defender and crosses it in but Hitesh is too ahead to connect properly and the ball goes out.

71' - Courage Pekuson is stretchered off after going down injured. Kerala Blasters will be hoping it is not a major setback as the Ghanian has shown promise tonight with his counter-attacking moves.

69' - WHAT A SHOT!! Zequinha raises his arms up in frustration as his curling shot after cutting in from the left flank hits the Kerala goal as the home side and the crowd heave a sigh of relief.

66' - Courage Pekuson is off after another clearance by Kerala defense and gets Sifneos on the counter but Jordi Figueras slides in with a perfectly timed tackle to put the ball out for a corner.

53' - Zequinha takes a long distance shot but his effort is too timid to trouble Rachubka in the Kerala goal who gathers the ball and punts it out for a Kerala attack.

62' - Substitution for ATK

Finnish striker Kuqi comes off as Indian attacker Robin Singh comes in to add teeth to the ATK forward line.

59' - Substitution for Kerala Blasters

Rene Muelensteen makes the first change for the home side as he takes out Iain Hume and Mark Sifneos comes on for the ISL top scorer.

53' - After an ATK corner, Courage Pekuson gathers a loose ball from Perreira but his final ball is too heavy for Berbatov as another Kerala counter fails to come to fruition.

49' - CHANCE!! Vineeth cuts in from the right wing and takes a powerful effort but Debjit palms it away from the goal as Kerala get the first chance of the half.

48' - Both teams have started off on the aggressive front with high pressing and tackles flying about as the teams look to get their footing in the match and take control.

45' - The second half kicks off in Kochi as the teams aim to break the deadlock in the season opener as the home side Kerala will look to do better in the final 45 minutes.

HT - The ref brings an end to the first half as both the teams haven't able to score in a patient half of football with ATK probably going in as the happier side amongst the two with their controlled passing and movement. Kerala Blasters have struggled to get going and only looked good in patches. Dimitar Berbatov has looked highly peripheral and hasn't contributed much to the home side in the first 45.

45' + - Milan Ongnam takes another chance from outside the box but is off target and Debjit isn't concerned with the effort.

45' - Two minutes have been added to the first half as the teams are yet to break the deadlock at Kochi.

43' - Iain Hume is fed a cross from the right flank following which he attempts a bicycle kick inside the opposition's box but fails to fully execute it as he fails to connect with the delivery.

39' - Rupert puts in a cross after being put through on the wing by Hitesh Sharma but it deflects off Pesic and the ball is out for the corner.

36' - Chances of a goal have looked slim in this period, but it hasn't been anything but gripping. The build-up to the plays have been superb, and are keeping the crowd on its feet.

33' - More than half an hour has gone in the opener but Berbatov is left cut a frustrated figure as the home side haven't got going with ATK having the upper hand on the pitch so far.

28' - Debjit with a brave clearance!! Comes out to punch clear a cross that almost got to Berbatov in the box. Gutsy from the ATK custodian to say the least.

26' - Kerala survive!! ATK's Kuqi almost scores after a cross from the left isn't dealt with initially by the Kerala defense and Kuqi almost scored but Pekic clears the ball away from the box.

23' - Rupert is brought down by Lalruatthara resulting in a good freekick opportunity for the Bengal side. The kick is taken by Jordi but hits the wall and Rachubka collects with ease.

22' - ATK are controlling the flow of the game so far as Kerala have struggled to get ball possession with ATK keeping almost 70% possession in the match so far.

19' - Kuqi takes a weak shot on the turn after the ball falls to him after Hitesh fails to control it but those are easy pickings for Rachubka in the Blasters goal.

15' - Scare for Kerala!! A mistimed backpass puts Rachubka on the spot as he heads out of his goal and rushes in to boot the ball away to safety.

13' - Rachubka saves it!! A shot from Hitesh Sharma from the right headed for the goal is kept out by the diving Rachubka as ATK keep the pressure on the home side.

11' - ATK have managed to suppress the Kerala attacking threat and taken control in the middle of the park with their passing and movement.

9' - Kerala get their first corner as Iain Hume curls it in but the ATK defense is up to the task clearing it to safety away from the danger zone.

6' - ATK earn the first corner of the match as Lalruatthara tackles Prabir Das who was put through on by Lyngodh's through ball on the right wing.

5' - Kerala have slowly stepped up the attacking tempo with a couple of inroads into the ATK defense with ATK being able to fend them off so far.

3' - Kerala have the first shot at goal as Milan Singh takes a long-range belter after a clumsy clearance fell to him outside the ATK box. Just past Debjit's goal.

2' - The initial exchanges has seen ball pretty much with the ATK side as Teddy Sheringham's side look to keep possession by moving the ball around the park.

0' - And we're up and running!! Kerala Blasters kick off proceedings as they play from left to right.

The crowd at JLN Stadium in Kochi is seen holding a banner which reads ''Home of the 12th man''. Indeed the sea of yellow at Kochi is nothing less than a twelfth man for the home side.

The teams make their way with the captains leading the way to the pitch as we are just moments from kicking off the ISL Season 4.

Local Kerala superstar Mammotty has arrived to the stage with a ball to loud cheers from the Kochi crowd as he addresses the crowd and boosts up the morale of the people.

Salman Khan is entertaining the Kerala crowd with his witty remarks as we get close to kickoff in Kochi. The audience is perhaps getting a Bigg Boss vibe from this show till now since Salman has taken over proceedings.

The two captains, Sandesh Jhingan and Jordi Figueras have arrived at the center with the ISL trophy with Salman hosting the proceedings. Sachin Tendulkar arrived to humongous cheers from the Kerala crowd.

The opening ceremony is on in full flow with Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif putting on an exuberant display at the stadium dancing to their popular hits for the massive audience gathered in Kochi. A grand opening for the ISL!!
