What a surprise to read that @KeralaBlasters and Rene Meulensteen decided to mutually part ways.

Even Rene Meulensteen could not stand the pressure.Being a part of @KeralaBlasters is all about delivering under immense pressure. #ISL is not that big of a league to experiment a lot with injured and old players. Feeling sad for him.

The only reason Dimitar Berbatov and Wes Brown joined Kerala Blasters was Rene Meulensteen. Will be interesting to see how they react now.

Rene Meulensteen has stepped down from Coaching position of Kerala Blasters. We're going nowhere with him and the right decision has been made. Our fans deserve better than this. #KeralaBlasters

About René Meulensteen - not surprised at all. Had to happen. He hasn't been able to crack it and it goes to show how the most impressive CV doesn't always win.

On a side note - @KeralaBlasters, have you heard of this guy called Sanjoy Sen? 👀#HeroISL #IndianFootball #KBFC

2018 starts with a bang in #IndianFootball. Rene Meulensteen leaves @KeralaBlasters while Sanjoy Sen quits as Mohun Bagan coach. Both were bound to happen although teams sacking coach in @IndSuperLeague I feel is useless.

Rene Meulensteen shown the door by Kerala Blasters. Not surprised by the decision. The Dutchman got it wrong with the squad selection. He should have at least retained one foreign player from last season. Anyway wish him the best for future endeavours #HeroISL
