Sunil Chhetri's second-half goal lifts the Blues to the top of the ISL standings as the defence puts in a good shift to keep out the pressure from the Highlanders. The NorthEast United side played well and did not allow Bengaluru to assert control over the game.

A good half of football comes to an end in Bengaluru as the sides go into the break on level terms. Juanan gave the home side the lead with a free-kick header but NorthEast United continued to attack and were rewarded with a penalty. Marcinho did the honors to level it up for the Highlanders.

14' - GOAL!! A free-kick for dangerous play by Doungel haunts the visitors. Edu Garcia crosses in the ball and Juanan just glances it goalwards as Rehenesh has no chance of saving it.

12' - Another attack from Northeast as Danilo gets inside and crosses it for Doungel but he is ahead of the ball and it beats him.

11' - Good move from the visitors as Marcinho's pass deflects onto the path of Narzary who cuts in after dodging past Khabra but the Bengaluru defence clear its lines.

9' - Both the sides have been lax in possession but Bengaluru have looked more dangerous going ahead so far. Northeast have sat back and tried to catch them on the counter.

5' - Miku brings down Goncalves as the ref asks him to go out of the boundary for receiving treatment. Northeast United players surround him and protest the decision.
