It was the home side who went ahead with Manu Onwu's goal in the very first minute but Kerala stormed back to lead 2-1 twenty seven minutes later. Just when it looked like Kerala will go in to the tunnel as the happier side, a stunning free-kick from Manu Onwu which has followed by Martin Guedes Perez's penalty ensured Odisha finished the first-half with a 3-2 scoreline in their favour.
