Second half set to begin
India need to keep going and not stop. Bringing Rahul Chaudhari in for the second half will not be such a bad idea. He needs a bit of confidence and this is the ideal game to do the same.
Was that enough from the perspective of making a statement for India or Australia are too inexperienced? A bit of both. Australia have been too hasty while India have capitalised on their inexperienced.
20' India 32-7 Australia - Excellent raid by Ajay Thakur as he manages to get the bonus and a touch point. Cunningham tries really hard but cannot evade the Indian defence. Ajay Thakur continues his good form by taking another point. Australia raid and who is there to stop the raid? Manjeet Chhillar. Second Super Five. The first half ends with Australia having just one man on the mat.

13' India 21-3 Australia - India have slowed down the pace of the game and are happy to sit back and take it easy. Australia, on the other hand, look a bit clueless. Manjeet Chhillar takes Sharp down with ease. India lead by 18 points.
10' India 20-2 Australia - One thing India are doing clearly better than the game against South Korea is the relentlessness. Pardeep gets another point and then Manjeet Chhillar brings down Cunningham to reduce Australia to two men. Deepak Niwas Hooda gets a touch point and Australia are down to one man. The All Out looms large and there it is. India lead by

HERE WE GO!!!! Australia to raid first.
We are ready to go here!!! India cannot take this World Cup easily as Bangladesh has laid down a marker by thrashing England. India will have to produce a big win. Australia, on the other hand, will have to be fearless but intelligent.
The message is loud and clear to the Indian team from the management, perform or perish. Expect Deepak Niwas Hooda to star tonight alongside Pardeep Narwal.
Australia starting 7: Brown, Jasvir, Sharp, Lo Presti, Cunningham, Nugent, Singh
India and Australia have gone head to head in cricket and hockey. It is about time we add Kabaddi to the mix as well.
We are just moments away from the start of the match between India and Australia but one thing can be said, the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup is alive and kicking.
PHEWWWW!!!! What a match that was between Poland and Kenya. The African nation has defeated their European opposition in game that was highly entertaining.
India starting line-up: Anup Kumar (C), Pardeep Narwal, Manjeet Chhillar, Sandeep Narwal, Dharmaraj Cheralathan, Deepak Niwas Hooda, Surjeet
We have some big news here!!! Rahul Chaudhari and Jasvir Singh have been dropped from the starting line-up in favour of Pardeep Narwal and Deepak Niwas Hooda. This is a strong move by India as they have left out possibly the best raider in the world.
Hello friends and welcome to Sportskeeda’s live coverage of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup and it is the second game of host nation India and they will be taking on minnows Australia, who are being coached by Indian kabaddi player Navneet Gautam.
India were stunned yesterday by South Korea in the opening fixture of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup in Ahmedabad. After being in the driver’s seat for a major part of the game, India let the lead slip away and South Korea, who were relentless, stayed in the hunt produced a stunning resurgence through Jang Kun Lee to win the game 34-32.
The host nation will not be taking anything lightly and would like to send out a strong message to both Australia and the rest of the teams. India will be wary of the fact that Australia are coached by Navneet Gautam, who has plenty of kabaddi under his belt. However, the likes of Rahul Chaudhari, Mohit Chhillar and Pardeep Narwal would want to bounce back after a quiet day one. Anup Kumar was stellar for India yesterday and his leadership will play a critical role as well.
