India need to keep going and not stop. Bringing Rahul Chaudhari in for the second half will not be such a bad idea. He needs a bit of confidence and this is the ideal game to do the same.

21:23 (IST)8 OCT 2016

Was that enough from the perspective of making a statement for India or Australia are too inexperienced? A bit of both. Australia have been too hasty while India have capitalised on their inexperienced.

PHEWWWW!!!! What a match that was between Poland and Kenya. The African nation has defeated their European opposition in game that was highly entertaining.

India starting line-up: Anup Kumar (C), Pardeep Narwal, Manjeet Chhillar, Sandeep Narwal, Dharmaraj Cheralathan, Deepak Niwas Hooda, Surjeet

19:55 (IST)8 OCT 2016

Hello friends and welcome to Sportskeeda’s live coverage of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup and it is the second game of host nation India and they will be taking on minnows Australia, who are being coached by Indian kabaddi player Navneet Gautam.

India were stunned yesterday by South Korea in the opening fixture of the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup in Ahmedabad. After being in the driver’s seat for a major part of the game, India let the lead slip away and South Korea, who were relentless, stayed in the hunt produced a stunning resurgence through Jang Kun Lee to win the game 34-32.

The host nation will not be taking anything lightly and would like to send out a strong message to both Australia and the rest of the teams. India will be wary of the fact that Australia are coached by Navneet Gautam, who has plenty of kabaddi under his belt. However, the likes of Rahul Chaudhari, Mohit Chhillar and Pardeep Narwal would want to bounce back after a quiet day one. Anup Kumar was stellar for India yesterday and his leadership will play a critical role as well.
