. Everton have just confirmed the transfer on their website.

Meanwhile, Everton have been busy on the buying front too. Cenk Tosun has been on their radar for a while now and they have almost completed a £27m move for the Beskitas striker.
Come to Everton *cue terrible music*

Man City boss Pep Guardiola is looking to sign players and makes his intentions known to the press since they are fighting on four different fronts.

"The toughest period to buy players is now because everybody want to keep their players so it is not easy. We do believe we need something because we have four competitions."

BREAKING: Barkley completes Chelsea medical

The Everton midfielder looks all set to move to Stamford Bridge in what could be a £15m deal. The Englishman is at currently at the club with his agents as they finalise a deal and personal terms.

Real Madrid loanee James Rodriguez has absolutely no plans of returning to the Bernabeu anytime soon. He is very happy at Bayern Munich and intends on seeing out his 2-year loan spell.

"I'm staying here. My present is here and I'm very happy in Munich. I don't want to think about anything else."

The Colombian midfielder was linked with Manchester United.

If Liverpool fans were hoping for an update on their pursuit of Thomas Lemar, prepare to be disappointed. The Merseyside club are yet to table an offer for the AS Monaco star.

But are they waiting for the Coutinho deal to be done first? Lemar will cost upwards of £90m and having spent £75m on Virgil van Dijk already, balancing the books and a vacant squad position may be on their mind. Arsenal and Chelsea are also linked with the 22-year-old midfielder.

17:57 (IST)5 JAN 2018

Man City are yet to make a final decision on Alexis Sanchez after Arsenal refused to sell him on deadline day last summer. A £25m bid could see the Gunners cut their losses rather than lose him for free in the summer. But with Olivier Giroud still injured, Wenger may not let go of the Chilean forward any time soon.

With Gabriel Jesus sidelined for a month or two with a knee injury, will Guardiola take a risk and bring in Alexis?

17:42 (IST)5 JAN 2018

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is looking to offload Henrikh Mkhitaryan but they are yet to get any concrete bids.

However, they reportedly rejected a loan deal from Inter Milan. United clearly want the money from any possible sale to be reinvested in the squad.
No escape route for Mkhitaryan

Coutinho is not the only midfielder Liverpool could lose. Emre Can has reportedly 'agreed in principle' to join Juventus at the end of the season. The German's contract ends this summer and he can actually sign a pre-contract with any club now.

17:13 (IST)5 JAN 2018

The Coutinho saga is not a distraction for Liverpool, according to manager Jurgen Klopp.

"They are professional football players. Sometimes they are in the middle of the story and sometimes they are sat next to the guy in the dressing room who is in the middle of the story."

More here.
Goodbye?

17:10 (IST)5 JAN 2018

Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri is linked with a move to the Premier League. Man City? No. Arsenal? No. It's Everton

Surprised? So are we! Remember, Barca's £35m offer was rejected last summer.

17:05 (IST)5 JAN 2018

Jonny Evans is still a target for Manchester City, according to Sky. They had seen a bid rejected by West Brom last summer. Could he move now that the Baggies look destined for relegation? Remember, he spent 9 seasons with rivals Manchester United.

16:42 (IST)5 JAN 2018

Guess who's looking to sign sensational teenager Ryan Sessegnon? Yep, a number of English clubs such as Manchester United and Tottenham want the kid who can play as a left-back or left winger but PSG are now in the running with a £30m fee being mooted.

16:40 (IST)5 JAN 2018

There are also reports from Daily Mail that claim Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to bring Andy Carroll on loan for the rest of the season. Alvaro Morata has been inconsistent and the Italian boss wants a Plan B - especially after missing out on Fernando Llorente and letting go of Diego Costa.

16:03 (IST)5 JAN 2018

Meanwhile, Ross Barkley is all set for a transfer to Chelsea for just £15m!
The 24-year-old is out of contract at Everton this summer and is due for a medical at the London club soon.

Chelsea had tried to sign Barkley in the summer but that deal fell through on deadline day. The clubs had agreed a £35m transfer fee but Barkley wanted more time to assess his options as he recovered from a hamstring injury.

15:49 (IST)5 JAN 2018

Arsenal have been linked with Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Will they sign him? Not according to Arsene Wenger.

He was very succinct in his response: "No, that's not a possibility."
