West Bromwich Albion's bosses have sanctioned the purchase of Tottenham defender Kevin Wimmer for a fee of £15m, Sky Sources understand, and it's now Tony Pulis' call on whether to go ahead with the deal.

West Ham close to Carvalho

Sky sources have disclosed that West Ham's move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder William Carvalho is edging closer. The fee is yet to be agreed, though talks are continuing between the two clubs and time is of the essence for the Hammers, with other clubs alerted to his availability. Sky sources also understand that personal terms will not be an issue.

Leeds United striker Chris Wood has arrived in Manchester for a medical ahead of his proposed £15m move to Burnley. The Sky Bet Championship club's manager Thomas Christiansen confirmed on Saturday that Burnley's offer for the New Zealand international had been accepted.
