The reported £40M transfer fee will make Mo Salah the most expensive African player ever, eclipsing the £34M paid for Sadio Mane by Liverpool last summer.

According to Kicker, FC Koln striker Anthony Modeste is close to joining Tianjin Quanjian in the Chinese Super League for a reported fee of €35M. The Frenchman scored 25 goals in the Bundesliga last season, a tally only bettered by Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Juventus are preparing a €40M bid for Federico Bernardeschi, according to Di Marzio. The Fiorentina player was previously linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United but it looks like the Bianconeri are closing in on a deal for the Italian.

According to Foot Mercato, Gael Clichy has rejected a move to Fenerbache and has agreed a 3-year-deal with rivals Galatasaray. The deal could be made official in the coming days after a pending medical.

Chelsea have reportedly joined Manchester City and Liverpool in the race to sign Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain (23) from Arsenal, according to Sky sources. The player only has a single year remaining in his contract and is willing to leave the club according to various reports.

According to Sky sources, a £100M takeover is scheduled to happen at Sunderland by the end of this week. Current owner Ellis Short has also received bids from Germany as well as a multi-national consortium led by a group of Sunderland fans.

BREAKING: Dani Alves has reportedly agreed a a two-year-deal with Manchester City. The player will complete a medical in the coming week and re-unite with his former boss Pep Guardiola.

Newly promoted side Huddersfield Town are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea youngster Izzy Brown on a permanent deal, according to the Telegraph. The player who spent last season on loan at the club and helped Huddersfield secure promotion to the first division is valued at £8M by Chelsea.

Liverpool are close to agreeing a deal for AS Roma winger Mo Salah, according to Sky sources. The Serie A giants rejected a £28M deal from Liverpool earlier and it seems like they have reached an agreement now for a deal worth believaround £35M.

Salah will become a Liverpool player in the coming weeks

According to the Daily Star, Arsenal striker Takuma Asano will stay with Stuttgart next season after he failed to secure a work permit to play in England. The 21-year-old joined the Gunners from Sanfrecce Hiroshima last summer and helped Stuttgart secure promotion to the Bundesliga during his time on loan.

Inter Milan are keen on Paris Saint-Germain winger Lucas Moura, according to Calciomercato. The Brazilian is reportedly frustrated with the lacking of playing time in France and Inter have identified him as an ideal replacement for Ivan Perisic, who is close to joining Manchester United.

According to Daily Mail, Liverpool are close to complete the £40 million signing of Roma's Mohamed Salah. The player is expected to arrive in England soon.

Torino president Urbano Cairo, when asked about Andrea Belotti's future, said, "I've not had any contact from anyone. Not from PSG, Manchester United or AC Milan. He's under contract until 2021 and that means he has to stick with us."

According to L'Equipe, Barcelona will go all out for Borussia Dortmund starlet Ousmane Dembele. The Catalans are looking to restart their pursuit for Dembele but the Frenchman won't come cheap as Dortmund hold out an €80 million fee for him.

Bild report that Bayern Munich have agreed a €40 million fee from Juventus for Douglas Costa. The Brazilian's agent was in Turin a few days ago to tell the Juve officials about Costa's interest in playing for them.
