ICC World T20 2016: New Zealand beat India by 47 runs

That was certainly a turn up for the record books in a very literal sense. New Zealand start off with a win and India's net run-rate has taken a severe beating. Join us again tomorrow for a double header as things start heating up.

On a turning pitch, chasing a low total, Indian batsmen lacked application and no one apart from Kohli, Dhoni and Ashwin, looked like they wanted to grit it out and claim a victory.
