India take a 1-0 lead through Varun Kumar's penalty corner goal as the Men in Blue have had the upper hand in the match.

10' - India has been dominating so far in the match with most of the play being restricted in the Irish half.

5' - GOAL!! Varun Kumar drags the ball into the right side of the goal to get his first goal in the tournament and opens the scoring for India today.

5' - The Irishmen defend well against the penalty corner attempt but are unable to get the ball out of the circle and end up conceding another.
